Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
It was unavailable for when she was planning to do Ireland due to the GAA season.
nah Taylor tour was planned back as far back 2022, oasis was only planned in last 6 months. Beyonce does far less dates than Taylor Swift does. Think Taylor did nearly triple the dates than beyonce last tour. beyonce will go big with massive stadiums for maximum money. 30,000 capacity difference between aviva and croke park is so many millions left off the table. Talking about €5m difference in revenue a night
Anything to be said for another 'Killers' Irish show ?
chic/Nile Rodgers just announced another uk tour. Fingers crossed for ireland
Yea but we also had zero Croke Park gigs in 23 and in 20/21
They’ll be away for a few years hopefully, still touring the greatest hits album and not needed here with how often they’ve played recently
yeah but I don’t see residents happy if you have 6 shows in 24 and another 5 or 6 again in 2025. the fallow years make it more palatable.
elucid of Armand Hammer in workmans next year
green day back in Europe next June
Expected for download festival, confirmed for hurricane in Germany
hitting countries and festivals they didn’t cover on last trip. twice in two years here is probably the limit for them in ireland. Maybe a Belfast though
Hans Zimmer playing the 3Arena on 26th November 2025.
They only played in June. They seem to be over at least every 2 years for a show
they’ve actually played here 12 out of the last 20 years including 2022,2023 and 2024
Christ that's a depressing stat.
we can only blame ourselves as they sell 40/50k tickets each time with no hassle
Dua Lipa adding more dates to her tour next summer including Anfield 24th of June and Aviva June 27th
Disappointed to see Snow Patrol are playing a Tuesday night.
Probably the only band left I haven't seen live that I'd maybe go to, but not a chance on a Tuesday night, too awkward.
You'd think SP would have been a big enough band to warrant a weekend gig?
Bit odd there’s an O2 presale for Dublin
Bigger band sell out midweek quicker than smaller bands
ya I would expect vital or Belsonic
The popularity of an act has nothing got to do with whether they get a Saturday slot in 3 arena. Their agent is tasked with the jigsaw puzzle of slotting an arena tour in a two week window in a logical fashion and dealing with the availability of each of those arenas across those weeks.
An Irish band doing a once off show can easily get a Saturday if they are flexible but if you are doing uk and ireland arena tour then you take what day of the week works for the routing schedule.
official
Reckon they'll be happy to finish that run of dates in Belfast as "home" shows, doing Thursday and Friday after the Tue in Dublin. Most of the times I've seen them up north have been a Friday or Saturday.
My guess is that its an error as there are O2 presales for the UK gigs. It would be bizarre if there was an O2 presale for UK customers for the Irish gig.
mcd posted that there is mcd and artist presales for it
Yes but the Ticketmaster listing still has an 'O2 presale'. As I said, an error.
Extra data in Dublin if sales go well
Thursday or Saturday?
Snow Patrol planning on doing some more Irish dates for the Summer
Only way i can see Green Day returning to Dublin is if they play the 3Arena. Woundnt mind seeing them there but id be meh about another outdoor show esp if its a continuation of the 'Saviours Tour' which is going into 2025
In fairness it was more dookie+American idiot tour, than "saviours". Would prefer less of a dookie and more of the saviour and greatest hits like hitching a ride, 21 guns, still breathing, saviours, fancy sauce.
I don't think they're coming. They're doing the same setlist, dookie and AI in full at Hurricane and Southside.
