Better
Scratchcard today is a free pastry
I got a different scratch card
Ugh back to these things.
I got jelly babies or breadsticks!
I got that option earlier in the week
Toffee Yum-Yum for the win
I didn't get a scratchcard
Just an FYI on the Parkrun freebies, this week a cucumber or a Gala apple. Lidl have a packet of Gala apples sitting right next to the cucumbers, and the barcode number is only different by a couple of digits. Double check before you head to the tills.
I had to get the Grissini Breadsticks yesterday because they didn't have any of the Crilley's Jellybabies left in the Shankill Lidl😒
I guess they mix them up now, I've gotten bread sticks, mentos, pastry, popcorn, 30 cereal, 30 red hen recently.
I remember back in the day they had it set to one everyday so you could see if it's worth getting, we didn't know just how good we had it :(
Actually, it was every 10 hours at one point, so twice a day! And back then a freebie transaction was sufficient to trigger another scratch card freebie!! You'd almost think the government had been running it :)
We forget how generous Lidl have been, we can look back through the thread - still have the free baking paper, cling film, washing up liquid, some travel sweet tins, free tuna tins, and more
The honey lake.
I bartered some of my honey for pints so it worked out ok in the end. I can't really do that with cucumbers.
I think thats a violation of several regs!
Change your name to McDaid I predict for a free mcdaids
cherry tomatoes on next parkrun code !
That's one I'll be happy with.
Any notions on what the daily coupons will be?
Sounds like a convincing reason to ignore the data grab!
4 year old quote 🤣
Not all of us have the omega gene. Some of us are slightly kwackers.
I only just realised what a scam this game is.
I simply followed the first post I saw. I never noticed the date, I was of the impression the scam was a new thing.
It has only just affected me anyway, or would have if I didn't keep an eye on what they were charging
I think the comment holds good anyway.
I would have used Aldi instead a long time ago but for the vast quantity of used boxes available at Lidl.
Did this registration game not start off with Tesco's clubcards in the UK?
Well known fraudsters.
PARKRUN100
and will allow you a choice between a
loose clementine
or
cherry tomatoes
Is there a sight sadder?
It does allow you to buy up to 15 items in one purchase.
anyone?
Kickstart stuff probably.
I got that one a few days ago too. The whole nut bars are very nice, but have gone up in price like everything else by more than the 30% saving.
You're not being scammed, you're being incentivised by the bad savings. Shop around, don't be like the people on those "how to save money" shows. If lidl is cheaper for poison buy it there, if not walk to aldi for the poison, they're usually close enough to one another.
Lidl store trolls adjacent Aldi
No, the pricing is deceptive at Lidl.
It is a scam as the Lidl plus requirement is always of an appearance and proximity to make the much larger price the apparent cost to the punter.
If this pricing is dependent on people downloading the program to their phone or tablet, then why even put the Lidl plus price on general display anyway? If the "app" is so good, then those with the thing would surely know the offers?
