Ah would you get a grip. Look at the list of presenters Today FM have had over the past few years. A decent mix of male and female presenters - as it should be.
It’s a fair point though because if they gave Pamela’s show to a man after she left, it would have been an all-male line-up from 6am until 7pm and that would have opened them up to a lot of criticism. Gender balance is no doubt a factor when deciding who to hire.
Today fm had been getting stick for a while about its all male line up. They finally had a few decent women, they simply couldn't replace them with men. I didn't say it was a bad thing.

After the news, Beyonce comes on so I switch over to Newstalk to hear them finishing their chat about the debate.

How important is a debate between two presidential candidates in another country to us, really though? Taylor Swift saying she's voting for Harris is of higher relevance to the audience than the debate, no doubt.

I heard an ad this morning for Ian Dempsey's show that featured that guy - even though it was only a snippet, it was a hard listen. He passed every time. I think that's why I never try to call in to radio quizzes, I'd be terrified I'd go blank and sound like a complete idiot.

Better a well-known artist for Music Master than the really obscure ones. Daddy Yankee was one last week… Ok, I've heard Despacito (who hasn't), but to me it was a Bieber song, and his other hit (and the one they used for Music Master) was "Gasolina", was from 20 years ago.
They only got JB on "Despacito" so it would generate interest to non-Spanish speakers. The original version did very well in the Spanosphere without him.
My google speaker isnt recognising the command to play Today FM since the weekend. Just checking if anyone else has the same issue or know of a fix. Wont play any station I asked it to even after a reboot.
Maybe your smart speaker is fed up listening to the constant Cash Machine plugs.
Mine seems to working fine……."playing TodayFM from TuneIn" same as usual although it seems to play more ads before starting the stream which is a pain.
