Transgenderism is a hot topic
I posted elsewhere today that while issues like immigration are huge topics for online people, the majority of the population aren't as engaged or worried about it and don't really think about it one way or the other. I think the exact same applies here. There is a small and dedicated group online who are anti-trans and seems to be the only thing they go on about. But again, the vast majority of people probably don't even consider it one way or the other.
And comment sections of any site is going to be a sewer of comments anyway.

Technically she refers to him as being our first gay - "a sodomite" - Taoiseach. Which is, I suppose, a slightly less vigorous description than saying that he has been sodomised.
Not to give her any credit: she really leans into her description of Leo V. The disgust and hate with which she describes him is palpable.

It's late in the game and you are several months behind. It has nothing to do with religion and very little ito do pronouns either!
It has an awful lot to do his disrespect and public abuse of his management, trespass and contempt of court.
And he has siblings practicing law, who are helping him get no but back in jail.
I suspect a lot hide behind religion for their views, the reality is transgenderism hardly touches many peoples lives and isn’t something particularly new all that’s changed really is access to social media which is designed to show you what you want to see
It's just nuts that only the extreme sides of any debate get aired these days. The middle, the grey areas in between is where the nuance and the learning is. People asking all the wrong questions 'can a man have a baby, can a woman have a penis' etc. The real questions are 'Why do so many Trans people commit suicide and self-harm, why do they suffer more assaults than most other demographics, why are there less convictions through the courts against their attackers, why are there barriers to treatment, and so on. This dehumanising of anybody should be straight out illegal, and it starts with refusing to recognise them.
He did have the right to refuse , what he didn't have the right to do was hurl abuse at his boss at a public school event which is what got him suspended.
He WAS NOT suspended for his refusal to "accept a transgender pupil" he was suspended for behaving like a fool at a public event .
As I have said many times before his "issue" could have been about the brand of tea-bags used in the staff room and if he shouted at his boss and chased them around the room as he did , he'd still be suspended.
It's got nothing to do with his beliefs, it is about his BEHAVIOUR and nothing more.
The student was non-binary I believe, not transgender.
When you say "international news sites" you mean far right sh1t stirring sites that fail to mention the actual reason he was fired, right?
My thoughts too. I don’t agree with anything he’s doing and he has no one only himself to blame for being in prison now but it’s hard not to feel some pity for him and all of his siblings.
There was one story where he said he was invited to the pub for drinks with colleagues one time and he considered going but changed his mind as alcohol and dancing are sins or something to that effect. That story stuck with me from the point of view that I assume the rest of his siblings think the same and it’s safe to assume it was their parents that gave them that view. If they’ve all been thought that all of the normal social situations; dancing, music, pubs, clubs etc. are all a sin how are they ever supposed to meet partners and enjoy some of the fun things in life?
Like Mammy and Daddy have 10 kids so they obviously had some bit of fun a minimum of 10 different times anyway! It’s sad to think that they’ve reared to children to try and prevent them from enjoying any of life’s joys as you’ve said.
I'd love to see him have a Megan Phelps-Roper type awakening and turn his back completely on his family's way of life. The whole country would embrace him if he did.

Please point out where in the doctrine of any of the Christian faiths does it say the transgenderism is outlawed? Where does it say you dont treat people who have behaviours or traits that are not illegal but are different to your own with anything other than love?
Also, discrimination is being treated differently that others. Everyone was treated the same. You dont seem to understand what discrimination is?
Their academic education was fine, but their social development was massively neglected. They seem to have absolutely no clue about the outside world and were raised in a cult.
I know there's probably no black and white metrics that can be put in place to protect children from this level of indocrination, but homeschooling certainly puts kids at increased risk of this and should be carefully monitored by social services.
There should be some guidelines around socialisation that homeshooled kids need to be engaged in. Requirements that they participate in x number of hours of extra curricular activities per week, ie: outside of the home school environment

What is he dismissed for and what was he jailed for? It was all about his behaviour and nothing to do with his opinions

This thread has taken an unexpected turn.
You need to get yourself a much better source of information, beyond the daily mail etc…. and be side which in Enoch makes great clickbait or selling ads and promoting your social media channel.
You also need to understand an awful lot more about our democracy and what is at stake.
Nobody, but nobody gets to choose which court rulings they are going to comply with and which they are not. To do otherwise would be to deny the rights of law abiding citizens who have correctly gone through the legal process and won their case. If you won a case say against a neighbour for storing farmyard manure at the back of the house for the garden and the neighbor just ignored the courts and continued, no doubt you'd be expecting action.
If Enoch continues his contempt, then it's very likely he will be going in and out of jail for the next 30+ years. And that is the correct place for someone who refuses to except the democratic and legal process of the country, preventing other citizens from enjoying their rights.

Arrested. Never charged with a criminal offence, because the ingredients are not present. Therefore he is not guilty of criminal trespass, never arrested for it again. Civil matter.
