I wouldn't welcome a new tobacconist either and I say that as a smoker, but mainly my point was the proliferation of vape shops, much like doughnuts a while back
Not to mention those stickers being put on everything. I'd nearly prefer chip bags they're easier to collect.
I think empty, at least then it's still an open opportunity to be something that contributes to society and the community.
What's the name of the vape shop in Eyre square?
Pick n Pak. I think.
New pub opened on Cross St. Galways smallest, supposedly. TJ Clarkes. Run by the Berry family, of Neo. It's opposite the Cross St door of Neachtains.
You Boards folk are quick to acuse vape shops of being fronts for money laundering but lots of people actually do use vapes, but if a DVD shop opened you'd say it was legit even tho not even bachelors in ballygorideurself still use DVDs
Hahah, first post. Welcome to boards mr vape
Have a lot of dvd shops opened lately Mr Vape?
Bachelors in Ballygorideurself is an idea I'll use though, so a worthwhile post 😉

It's up for Leasehold Sale on Daft too
That location is cursed! We tried the food there a few times but the kitchen never seemed to get their act together.
It does seem to be cursed, they survived longer than others. It's a pity, we used to go there quite a bit but the prices went up every 6 months to a point where we couldn't justify it anymore. The rent must be massive on it.
The barber (Grafton maybe) the Eglinton St side of McSwiggans has closed.
I see the newsagent next to Roscoe's is now Roscoes Express.
Pear Tree Cafe in Nest Boutique is moving out and going into ChefLauraRosso restaurant, same owners.
ChefLauraRosso restaurant is still going tho, right? Been meaning to get there all summer. Great burgers.
Yes it's just the partnership between the Nest and the Pear tree that's over
Another long time local Galway business, "Classic Tiles" on the Tuam Road is closing down (Its on their own FB page).
That's a shame, Nest was a really nice cafe vibe.
