Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Yeah they'll stay at the higher prices anyways. So frustrating
Give it a year and they'll charge a "technology fee" a la FreeNow.
Nah someone sent that onto me unfortunately. I wasn't so lucky 😔
Got into the ticket page on wife's account but couldn't justify over 400 for a standing ticket
will there ever be any legislation to control Ticketmaster gouging? they have taken the piss for yonks now.
What was the reasoning have Dublin tickets on sale an hour before the UK?
its uncertain what will happen in the future in regards pricing, as tm have full control over its operation and implementation, i generally recommend people to walk away from dynamic pricing, i know, this isnt easy when it comes to your favorite act, but dont bother, and wait for it to be deactivated, which can take some time, sometimes a number of months….
more tickets generally become available for larger venue gigs, much further down the down, months after general on sale dates, and these tickets are sometimes not dynamically priced, but this approach is risky, as you may not be lucky, and end up with no ticket, but many times, people will eventually get tickets, and sometimes maybe less than face value.
..so, walk away!
Ffs
Gutted but glad I'm not the only one, guess checking ticketmaster daily will be a new ritual
A long time ago, I was in Burma and my friends and I were working for the local government…….
You sincerely think that lads posting on social media about getting tickets is something worthy of getting upset about?
was in the queue for Saturday concert down to 1000 ,page stalled , refreshed ,still at 1,000 then 2 minutes later ,page froze ,refreshed ,now back at 39,000 ffs!!!!
Where did you hear this? I was at Bruce Springsteen during the summer and didn't get issued tickets till April to resell despite buying last November.
Apologies if this was posted already, I haven't read the whole thread. I have no memory of Oasis on stage at Slane in 1995, went looking at reports from the day and came across this which made me laugh:
"He [Noel] then travelled through time to scotch those future 'Oasis to reform' rumours. "I'm thinking of getting a contract drawn up which says, 'If we ever split and get back together, I hereby give legal permission to anybody who wants to kick my **** head in.'" he spat venomously. "They should make that standard when you sign a record deal because there's nobody, absolutely nobody, who's been better the second time around."

To all those who got tickets, enjoy the anticipation!
There isn't, that option is just showing for everyone and has not been removed. Did it actually give you tickets when searched?
The Oasis x account is not saying they are sold out, which I find a bit strange. Maybe they just can't be bothered.
That option wasn’t there 5 mins ago, The options that I am getting are changing every so often when I refresh. Getting stuck at “Confirming Availability” though.
Ticketmaster are usually alright at updating the queue info box to say when the tickets are sold out. It is still reading "Tickets are still available, but inventory is now limited and not all ticket prices are available."
But when you select it, are tickets coming through? No. So none available. And won't be. TM are leaving it hang there.
…price gouging is facilitated by encouraging monopolisation of markets, so, no!
Heaton Park now on demand pricing
For anyone going to the UK gigs out of curiosity do you mind sharing what you paid for flights & accomodation?
They weren't that good first time round either in fairness (Live that is, as I said before, loved their 90s music but they weren't great live - in my opinion)
I queued up early, dreams in sight, Hoping for a chance to see them that night. But as the clock struck nine, my hopes did fall, No tickets left, no “Wonderwall.”
“Don’t Look Back in Anger,” they say, But it’s hard when “Champagne Supernova” slips away. “Live Forever” echoes in my mind, Yet here I am, left behind.
“Roll With It,” I tell myself, Though “Supersonic” dreams sit on the shelf. “Some Might Say” it’s just a show, But for me, it’s a heavy blow.
So I’ll sing their songs from afar, With Oasis forever in my heart’s guitar. And though I missed this “Morning Glory,” Their music will always tell my story.
Thanks, A.I

I haven't booked flights yet but I got 3 nights in London for £700 before dayes confirmed but only 2 nights in Manchester for €1000 after dates confirmed which I'll probably change and stay in Liverpool or something
€391 for 2 nights in London (which I’ll pay half of) and flight was €85
Pop up campsites in back gardens for £400 for UK gigs. Madness.
Ticketmaster have absolutely no input into pricing.
They get the booking fee.
The gouging is by two Manchester boys taking the piss and making millions.
100% this. They signed off on dynamic pricing and the pricing scale.
It's on the T&C of the tickets when you buy them
pricing is due to all entities involved, i.e. artists, promoters, tm, management, venue owners etc etc etc, its no one entity, but clearly tm are the facilitators, and are operating the actual operation of pricing, but with the agreement of all…
