Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
That’s not how it worked, I’ve been on their mailing list for 3 years and wasn’t given a code
I actually really do get it.
Everyone is complaining about the presale.
You said "it's fair because people who were signed up to the oasis website with their mail address received codes to access the presale."
How is that fair? I know people who have been lifelong fans of Oasis, who would have never gone near the oasis website, and couldn't get access to presale tickets.
Now all the oasis fans I know, who couldn't get access to presale tickets, are super stressed about tomorrow morning and are worrying about getting tickets tomorrow
Instead of lolling and laughing at people. Maybe see that people are stressed and worried.
See that other people on this thread _ have also said that the presale system was unfair
I won’t bother clogging up the thread so won’t be responding again. Everyone with an email could enter the ballot for the presale. Hopefully your pals get sorted. I used my presale code and got 4 standing. Saucy price but sure look.
Can you join both the Saturday and Sunday queues in the morning or just one?
that’s annoying.
It makes sense now. You think the presale is a good idea, because you got tickets in the presale yourself.
Anyway thanks for saying " you hope we get sorted" . Let's move on
By what I have seen you can join both and get allocated different queue numbers for both dates
Both in different tabs yep
Everyones stressed. Count yourself lucky you didn't get a code, the few I know who did couldn't get what they wanted and panic bought nosebleeds for 127 or something silly. The majority of tickets in presale are always very expensive packages or very **** seats. It's just a funnel of panic towards the seats that will sell last.
And they're now sold.
I've never in almost 40 years of going to concerts experienced such panic and tension, both personally and from everyone else. It's a bit mad.
I think it’s a good idea cos it’s random and then if you're lucky enough you actually get a decent chance of getting a ticket. All the best in the morning. Edinburgh on the Tuesday will be the least demanded if that’s an option for people.
Alarm set to join the lottery of trying to get tickets tomorrow morning. Putting our tickets on sale an hour before all of the rest is a monumentally **** decision, and will likely see a huge percentage of Irish fans trying to get tickets left disappointed. The tickets will then be touted for huge profits.
Hard enough to pay nearly 200 to go to Croker 20 minutes away without flights and hotel, but if someone wants to really see them, you're bang on the money. Should be easily got.
Ah man it's a concert, not a heart operation.
The pre sale was a disaster for me. Logged in, couldn’t select pitch and the system just kept throwing seating tickets at me over and over again.
The only standing tickets on there were “premium” for €250 that gets you a commemorative wristband and a piece of unique merchandise…mental prices.
Ended up with nothing and now haven’t great hope for better luck in the morning.
I never said it was.
Things other than a "heart operation" cause stress.
It IS stressful when there is only one year in your life that you may get to see a band you want to see
It is more than music to people. It's about friends and family.
People want their father, sister , brother to be able to see their favourite band once in their lifetime. I'm trying to get tickets for me and my brother
I'm more stressed because I couldn't get a ticket at all for the only other band I wanted to see: coldplay. After i spent ages on ticketmaster trying to get tickets.
So I'm stressed that I will miss out again.
Anyway if I don't get tickets I'll get over it, but it definitely is stressful!
Yep. Bought my ATN 2025 ticket that way yesterday.
So please bear with me on this one……..
if you want to try for both nights in Dublin simultaneously……Can that be done by opening two separate Ticketmaster tabs on your laptop and scrolling between them?
Or would you need to open up Ticketmaster on your phone to try and get in the queue for the second night?
And are you better to click into the two respective nights sales a few minutes before 8am…….or should you wait until 8 on the dot to start your search?
Thanks for any replies.
Two tabs in the same browser will work as far as I know. Maybe someone from pre-sale can confirm.
it did earlier for the 2 nights as I discovered late on.
When I log in early..do I go to the Buy Tickets page and will it show the countdown page until 8am?
Or will another queue page open up nearer 8am,if you understand me?
You keep posting this premium crap... the artists set the price
No matter how much you want it to be different, whatever prices are available are set by the artist before sale
Yea no issue joining both.
I chanced the Sunday after about 20 mins wait in Saturday q and only moving from 12k position to 10k.
As it happened Sunday default opened in the app at 6k for me so I left it to see.
Saturday actually caught up and passed out Sun then but got to select tickets in both. Pure luck of the draw stuff.
The app didn't let me join a queue, let me put in the code but said something went wrong when I clicked to search for tickets. Changed to laptop and had a tab open for Saturday and Sunday, managed to get Sunday - the Saturday queue went though too and was able to find tickets but left them. Sounds like people had different experiences though so I'd absolutely have both on the go
I clicked on the gig details and it brought me to the waiting room, only discovered this at 6.59.
People missing the point, doesn't matter I guess.
Either way, no band has ever had a sound as big as Oasis, no matter how heavy they are, or probably ever will.
The force and rawness of much of their early stuff, and later heavier stuff, its simply huge in scope in how big the sound is. No band has ever really been able to bring that to the table before or since, no matter how heavy or loud they go. It's what seperates Oasis, and sent them supernova in the UK market.
Just to confirm - the waiting room for tickets only starts at 8am? There's no benefit in logging on before that?
don’t think you are right there, think it’s 15 mins beforehand, I’d log on at half 7
The waiting room was open well before 7pm today I believe. I think just after 6pm. So be ready to see what the story is at 7am.
Thought as much. Cheers.
