Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Mother of God Tom, things are tense enough in here.
I have a Ticketmaster for dummies question-
When it comes to uk venues and dates, can I apply for all at the one time or do I need to select only one venue and date?
You can join as many queues as you want at once.
Deadly 🙂
My first ever gig was Oasis in 1996 when I was 10. Hoping that brings some sort of karma for me on Satuday..
spoken in the accent of Val Kilmer in Topgun
“bullshit”
was there that day, they were brilliant!
Just received the confirmation email there now. Its going to be a nightmare to try and get tickets. There was 2 presale for Coldplay last year as well as the official release date
If you know, you know.
Best of luck to all 🙈
For the UK, also load up gigsandtours and seetickets, they're all selling them and I'd guess will have different allocations
Got an email and hour ago to say I'm in the presale and confirmed the link they sent.
But now wondering how this will go, will it be announced tomorrow start at a specific time and it's a race from there? By the looks of it the presale has more customers than tickets available.....
I’ve never really bought a ticket online for this type of demand before . But for everyone going on about how difficult it will be, can you not just give it a go while on the bog and if you don’t get it after 30 mins your gone and if you do happy days? Doesn’t seem all that stressful. Famous last words I guess.
Can anyone explain to me the reasoning why the Dublin dates go on sale an hour before the UK ones?
Does that not just guarantee that Dublin is going to have the highest volume of people trying to purchase? Sorry if this was answered already.
No logical rationale.
And yes.
Its likely the promoter has pre-booked a number of venues for additional nights as well as those publicly listed so far, how many additional who knows but I'd expect the frenzy getting driven by the marketing and PR will see these selling out too.
someone in Ticketmaster thinks Ireland is GMT-1. It’s the only thing that makes sense.
Stupidity.
Or else pure greed.
Those bands use what was the Kinks first described as distortion when they created that sound.
Oasis don't use that. I thought it was fairly clear in the post. They are the heaviest "true" band if you will, without the distortion. They are a wall of guitar noise in its truest form, their heavy songs a fast paced raw and pounding energy. There's actually no one else really like them, in how "big" their sound is
Some people can't seem to understand the difference, or like to jump the gun to put the poster down while missing the point.
ahahahaha
@The Golden Miller
An expert in Oasis and Cork hurling (lolled).
ok, so I got confirmation email.
So , if I’m lucky in the ballot , do I basically get an emailed code to my email address and then I need to login to ticket master and basically try and get a ticket for any day on the destination I chose ?
I will learn ye all yet haha
? Something untrue in what I said?
it’s to test the water regarding demand and lighten the strain on the Ticketmaster website. Expect a third Dublin date to be announced .
Yes.....
See above posts. Those bands use distortion, Oasis don't
In the right world The UK fans (with some who truly have no plans to come over here) would kindly mind their own business and wait out the hour til the desired show
No Successful Ballot email for me yet
Irish fans who miss out will be looking for tickets the other way in fairness
Pretty silly statement
I have zero issue with people from outside ireland trying for tickets.....I intend on trying for 1 or 2 UK dates aswell as dublin. Have seen many artists abroad outside dublin, alway good to get a trip away
Likewise
Sorry about the comment, just a but stressed about the ticket sale and social media not helping with the ballax been spouted. Not helping that 'Ticketmaster Dynamic Pricing/Ticketmaster Platinum' is looking like the majority option
I wouldn't mind seeing them in Edinburgh if I can't get a Dublin ticket
I never saw oasis but have seen 16 gallagher solo gigs(alot abroad🤣). I'm stressed myself but there's no need to panic. Alot of gigs....alot of tickets....its a year away...we'll all get sorted in the end 👌
Best of luck everyone for tomorrow/Saturday
Same was said about the Coldplay shows regarding 'plenty of tickets will be available etc'
Feels a lot less than a 'year away'
