Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Ticket prices being released today yeah?
Nothing is certain until you have the data. Without that it's guessing and gut feel.
Am glad someone else said this …. couldn't believe what I was reading
Hype, give me Noels HFBs anyday.Liams voice is gone!
167 + fees - standing.
197 + fees for seated.
was posted on here yesterday (leaked?)
Haha!
Both Coldplay and Ed are amongst the top 5 names in the US,Oasis much as I love them are....well let's just say not quite at that level over there!
Also....the Olympic stadium in Seoul?.....
I lived in Seoul all through the early 00s.Oasis actually played there in about 05 to a 4k capacity hall near my house.I was gutted to miss it but was away that week. Westlife,Enya and to a lesser extent U2 would be way better known over there.
Some people are very gullible, caught up in the hype and believe any auld sh1te online without critically thinking about it.
Maybe noel should have got a pre nup.
Rip off
No it was always certain. There’s loads of reasons as to why. Croke Park is also certain to sell out 2 nights and realistically would sell out 3 or 4 more nights with no issues, though it remains to be seen what will happen there.
I thought i saw a tv ad yesterday saying they were from something like 86.50.
‘From’ being the operative word i guess.
They'll be the restricted view seats or the 'in the gods' seats and there probably won't be that many of them.
With the added Edinburgh date, there's probably no chance of a Wednesday Dublin gig, so probably only one additional Dublin date on the Thursday if they add anything.
I would say its unlikely to be before the current gigs.
There's 6 days between Cardiff and Manchester gigs, 5 days between Manchester and London gigs, 5 days between London and Edinburgh gigs and 4 days between Edinburgh and Dublin gigs. Probably more chance they're add the week after.
I'm only guessing though.
Dublin might only get 2 days. Other croke day kept for other artists
Nothing extra for Dublin suggests the numbers from Ireland registering for the pre-sale might not have been as strong as the UK
”If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information.”
Looks like it will be a late pre-sale considering the general sale is 8am the following morning.
Impossible to prove and hindsight is 20/20 vision. Only the data will tell them how many extra concerts they will add.
I'm just surprised they haven't done it the same way as Coldplay and wait for the current concerts to sellout and while people are still in the queue banging away then put new ones on sale. Also surprise they put the weekend ones on sale first.
I'd imagine it's just logistics that would stop them adding more nights, Croke Park not being available or the dates not aligning with the rest of the tour. Hard to imagine demand here being anything less than utterly insane
My e-mail said
"Ballot winners will be contacted no later than 9am BST, this Friday 30th August.
Only those selected will receive an email with full details and timings."
That has now changed
Cool, thanks.
Gonna be a tight turnaround for presale!
Are there any pre sale codes for this ?
Presale is 7pm
How much roughly are the fees? About 5 Euro per ticket it it?
Usually about 10% of the ticket price, up to €10.
So essentially
(Bar the cheaper 86 euro ones - which by the sounds of it will have a bad view etc)
Saucy.
You had to apply on the website before 7pm last night.
Does anyone know if you have to be logged into your Ticketmaster account before queuing or can you log in after you are given your queue number/about to basket tickets?
Probably the same amount hoovered up by non AC/DC fans recently, who just wanted to tick a box on their bucket list.
You click to join the queue then they force you to login before you can join
You can't join a queue without being logged in.
