Was there actually any discussion at an official level of moving the All Irelands back to August for 2025?
was there ever anything discussed at an official level?
Fair enough. My point though is that if there were any real moves to change the date to August then maybe the lure of a couple of oasis gigs had an influence on keeping things as they are, but while a move back to August might be good, and would have a lot of support among GAA fans, I haven't heard of any serious moves to do that, so it seems a bit of a stretch to say that Oasis are dictating the GAA calendar.
No, just read between the lines, it’s all about money. As someone said to me today in a few years time we will have a lot of concerts in Croke park with maybe one or two hurling and football matches if they can fit it in the schedule.
just talking to a man today. We lost fourteen of the last fifteen hurling finals we played. And some people say that there is no crisis, think again.
worse again we have to go across to Munster to see a decent hurling match . Leinster is very poor these days . No decent team in there.
That's down to the dire standard of hurling in Leinster at the moment. Not ideal preparation for the tougher matches at the business end of All Ireland championships.
Leinster was never that strong. I’d blame the county board yet again they took their eye off the ball and poor investment. Look at the improvements underage in the last few months with little investment just getting their ducks in a row.
There was me thinking you were a big supporter of the county board and the management teams marooned
I’m a closet supporter of the county board I’m only trying to trap dissidents. Do you know any.
seriously though I think it’s time that something needs to be done. We are just limping along with the people at the top table of the county board.
ad infinitum ……. 🤷♂️
Update.
Some senior clubs used veo/cameras to record games over last weekend.
It appears that the paragraph below the 'National Childrens Officer' was added by the County Childrens Officer ..
Who takes precedence ?
Croke Parks guidelines, or a County board members opinion ?
We have a very busy children's officer 🙄
Yes…. Very busy….
Well, Someone mentioned county board members that are 'untouchable' and/or un movable …… Limping along is dead right …..
A revolution is needed. Who will we put in command?
Giving out about it on boards.ie multiple times every day does absolutely nothing that’s for sure.
4 seniors, 4 minors and a loss in U21, with one win in U20.
How do you get 14 final losses?
Maybe their including national league finals?
club, league’s
We've won 3/5 last senior club finals, 6/7 Intermediate amd 6/7 Junior.
And have won 1 of last 3 National League finals and another split with Galway.
Jesus Christ is this a **** inquisition or what? I was just told that.
But you accepted it blindly and repeated it here.
Touchy …. 🤷♂️
If you post something like that, and it appears to be incorrect , posters are obviously going to question it !!
Now that I have your attention!
Just for clarity last 3 league winners are Waterford, Limerick and Clare. Your last outright league win was 2018.
thank god that’s over, I think I got away with that one.
I think the point was one of the last three played in, not one of the last three overall
Good God.
Please read what he claimed and what I replied to.
Finals involving Kilkenny. We havent lost 14 of the last 15 finals we have played in even if one chooses to lump in Leagues, Clubs, School or even Rounders. I'm out.
jaysus calm down, your only waiting for someone to make a mistake. I just took the man at his word about the 14 out of 15. You must have **** all to do, all you had to say was sorry I think you got it wrong there buddy. It must be a big high stable to keep that horse of yours in?
