there used to be a huge difference of attitude between the indie label groups such as Oasis and the like of the US major label hair metal scene - Bon Jovi, Def Leppard etc - groups who worshipped at the feet of the cloven footed horny god of money…. I want sheer balls to the wall couldn’t give a flying fcuk attitude of the original indie Oasis back.

It was pure working class hedonism on steroids - it originated from the stone roses Madchester scene - if you want to learn the history of this go on YouTube and look up stone roses spike island - working class collective culture - it is what inspired the Gallagher bros and Alan McGee!
I have just emailed their management company with the idea of a completely free public show at Knock Airport - Mayo. The 2 lads would love the symbolism of that, playing to a home irish crowd !

Someone already asked me about the bus - I said not a hope because the kids wouldn’t be interested in Oasis and wouldn’t want to spend 2 hours plus there and back for them.
