They have all pretty much played Ireland, and the great thing about it as someone mentioned earlier, was that it was easy enough to get tickets for all these great artists. I saw Leftfield at the Galway Arts Festival in July, who as you say are epic live, I haven't seen Underworld or Laurent Garnier play here in a long time though, but here's hoping before I really get too old for these gigs 🙂

Sure why not, yes this thread is all about Oasis, but it's also getting a lot of us all nostalgic for a time when music was truly much better. Great bands, great Djs, great festivals, and even Ireland had some great clubs, not to mention most of us were a lot younger 🙂

Wasn't there that thing about Gen Z having different attitudes to that type of thing, in that they don't really care about the prices. Remember reading about it last year when Taylor Swift tickets went on sale.
There is a limit (Pearl Jam found that out, not so much here but definitely in England), it just hasn't been found for the gigs with hyper demand. It makes the outrage over Coldplay ticket prices look comical.
I’ve signed up for early access ballot. I’ll try for tickets but won’t hold my breath. It’s so hard to get tickets for anything these days, I find. I saw Oasis in Cork in 1996. It was my very first concert and my friends and I got wrist bands to go into the pit. I didn’t even know what a pit was lol.

How many people to oasis go to dozen plus shows a year? It will be the only show a lot of people go to.
I don't remember a gig that I wanted tickets for, that I didn't get tickets for whether that was through initial ticketmaster sales, subsequent releases (got an EP ticket week before, direct from TM, not a reseller). I'm always confident with tickets but I really have no confidence on this one and I'm willing to travel wherever!

True. But Ticketmaster didn't show any split standing areas for Coldplay until long after tickets were sold. So who knows until they go on sale.
Nostalgia industry is big business. I checked my ticket for my first Oasis gig the old Point Depot in December 2005 and that cost €50 standing which felt expensive at the time

That was Earls Court arena for the What's The Story tour too, wasn't before they were big or anything
