Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
I'm convinced some don't actually like music at all they just like hating everyone else's tastes.
If Columbia was a single by some forgotten Shoegaze band the hipsters would be all over it.
Guaranteed they havnt been at a concert or festival in 15 years, there own way of justifying not going.
Got my confirmation email this morning just after 8! And Hubby got his too around the same time.
Saw Oasis in Cork in 96 & saw Liam recently at Thomond Park. He sounded just as good. Going to try for tickets for all the gigs. The UK ones might work out cheaper than Dublin hotel prices.
I had a conversation with 2 mates last night and it could have been 1999 again. Oasis are shite, blah blah blah. Jesus it was great to be having that argument 🤣
I have a group of at least 12 looking for tickets, 8 of us have seen them live back in the day, other 4 said they'd pay whatever it takes so really hope they get face value.
We're gonna try and do a UK, most likely Heaton Park. If flights are stupid money can always fly Birmngham/East Midlands/Liverpool etc and get train/bus
I signed up to the ballot at 9:30 last night and still no sign of a confirmation email
Yeah I've got a group of cousins in the UK, basically got me into Oasis as a young buck. They're planning on Croker and making an Irish holiday out of it but the fallback option is Wembley, either way accommodation no issue which is a major bonus!
Depends, London hotel prices are just as stupid and Manc prices won;t be too far off them. However train connections are pretty good, so no harm staying just outside whatever City you pick and you'd get a good deal
Same here if we get London, i have family in Hertfordshire, so i'm sorted there for a couple of us.
Part of the fun, planning it like that. Same when i did Glasto
Similarly the Edinburgh gigs will be during the Fringe Festival so accomodation prices will be nuts there too during August.
Still no confirmation email applied at around 820pm.
What time did people who got confirmations apply at?
Good spot. I'm actually travelling this Saturday morning so the group amongst us will bid for 4 tickets each, so if we have close to a dozen bidding or queueing, we'll be unlucky if we don't get 20+ tickets all together. Well that's the hope anyway.
Any spare, we'll sell at face value no probs
I registered at about 7pm last night got confirmation at 07:27 this morning…….
I wonder will the majority be sold on resale on Friday or will they keep most till Saturday morning?
Presale will be small enough in comparison I'd guess..
.. was basically to harvest email addresses and the like for marketing.
Notice you couldn't continue without opting in to email / SMS.
As per the FAQ I was reading there is only a set amount available for presale and rest is held back for general so even getting a code is no guarantee of getting a ticket in the presale.
I'm interested in how they'll handle the presale as you had to select whether you wanted UK or Ireland tickets so will you be limited to one or the other if you're lucky enough to get a code…
Probably all the crap seats in the pre-sale
😶
Holy Fuuhrke!!!
Yep, we noticed this, hence why the lot chose UK.
The demand, well the hype on social media is through the roof. They'll all be sold out. That much can be almost certain
Harvesting and planning for additional gigs.
This is the one we're looking for. Bit of Sunshinneeeeeeeeeee and it'll feel like a festival buzz

Yep noticed that too! I will wait until after I get my tickets and then complain about the legality of that….!
I think there was an option for 'No preference' when you selected country too.
No confirmation yet for presale, or for 3 friends too.
Not sure about those odds! Fingers crossed for yas.
Legally I would presume that they would be sued to the point of bankruptcy if they were to cancel any of the gigs, or they were unable to complete the tour for whatever reason. They have signed up for this, and I think there is no going back for Liam or Noel. So yes this will happen.
Yeah, i'm being overly optimistic tbh. Nobody really knows what to expect……..Sure all we can do is queue like everyone else.
ah exactly in fairness! Just think half getting access seems unlikely but ya never know. Might get these presale codes
Well it'll simply be that to qualify for presale you accept the terms of that agreement
Same as signing up to a bands newsletters for presale for all other gigs
I thought it said the link will be sent by sms but I might be wrong, I'm sure it was to weed out people using 100 email addresses. Most people only have one or max two phone numbers
On the 8am/9am thing that's exactly what happened with AC/DC, except it was 9 and 10. I am guessing it did result in a lot of crossover sales between the UK and Ireland which is exactly why they have done this again. I got to the payment details and was then thrown out of the TM Ireland queue but I got into one of the Wembley ones and picked up a ticket shortly after 10. I then got a front standing ticket for Croke Park through a subsequent ticket release.
What that may well mnean though is people could end up getting tickets for Dublin, then one of the UK dates and they would then offload their Dublin tickets. Bear in mind also that the hotel prices in Dublin will be crazy which may put off some who may otherwise fly in (not those getting the ferry from Holyhead though)
For anyone thinking of going for any UK dates I would suggest Wembley as there will be cheap enough accommodation somewhere near the city centre whereas all the other places will massively hike hotel prices. If driving Cardiff is an option also, as you can get back on a ferry to Rosslare after the gig - I have doine that for Coldplay and Springsteen.
