Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Where’s that from
FB fan pages
That would be coming full circle for Noel, who opened his early HFB gigs with (it's good) to be free 🙂
The demand for every venue is going to be enormous.
I'm losing faith already about getting a ticket for any of the gigs………..
You can blame Oasis (in this instance), Ticketmaster and the promoter for Platinum Tickets. Nothing to do with anyone else.
Pretend it's the 80s all over again, and get the bus and ferry to Manchester, or wherever you're going in the UK 🙂
See you both there 😂
My OH loves the wrestling. How much does a ringside seat cost?
(sorry, a little off topic & Tickemaster blocked in work)
Well if a lot of people who go these gigs could give up drinking for one night then maybe they could drive home after so avoiding the expensive hotels!
This would be great but like everything the scelpers would envitiably ruin it. I live in the residents zone and don't really feel the upevel ever.
Fours years now and not a stiff of tickets. The allocation is surprisingly low.
None available anymore, but mine were "only" €115
205 quid a piece (not including service charges) mine cost😪
Here's hoping. Can't be arsed with the early queues
Hmmm, my OH can watch clips on youtube so.. Thanks!
Is there not a residents presale for Croker gigs?
Yeah I’ll be put insane alright from trying to get tickets.
Mad!! Been at work all day. Was following this thread to after midnight last night. Just a quick sneak of a look in the afternoon, here, & there are 330+ more posts. Ye sure are all 'mad for it'! Happy for the Oasis-heads who must be in heaven! I can only imagine the frenzy of Saturday morning, for tickets! Was mad enough, observing the recent scramble for EP tickets. This'll be much madder, I suspect! Good luck, y'all.
I'm really iffy about my chances of getting a ticket.
I know so many genuine Coldplay fans who after years of seeing them missed out this time (and CP are playing FIVE GIGS) and just can't get a reasonable ticket.
On the other hand thinking about Garth Brooks. There was colossal demand for him and I can't think of anyone I know who wanted a ticket and couldn't get one.
Glad for myself that tickets are on sale on a Saturday as don't have to be distracted by that thing called work but also means more people will be able to be online trying as well
That would be my plan. Just need to secure a ticket first.
That's cause no one outside of Ireland really wanted to go see Garth Brooks. And only GB fans wanted to see GB. Hint, he's not cool. 😁
There is a new FOMO phenomenon where people who have no interest in Oasis (for example) will be going. They will know about 3 songs and won't even bother listening to any other between now and the concerts. Even though they're all available for free, legally, on YouTube etc etc etc on the phone in their pocket. It's just going to say they've gone somewhere, for the Instagram shot.
What would be considered the classic Oasis line up, and how close is the line up for this tour?
Apologies if already covered in thread.
😬😬
Very unfair. I'm been a big fan of Liam and whatshisname for years, ever since I found out they were the hottest band in the world. I love what he's done with his hair and I think that 'Roll with you' is a really super tune. I can nearly play Wonderwall on the guitar and am happy to pay 500 yoyos or whatever it takes to be part of this cool event. I already know what I'm going to wear and everything. Best of luck all the plebs who can't afford platinum. I mean does anybody actually go to 'gigs' when there's no platinum?? Wild.
I know a few people from Belfast who have already booked hotels in Dublin for the dates, I wish I had their confidence of getting tickets. Ive been on the Coldplay ticket merry-go-round…
I can't see that happening, there will be a lot of people partying likes it's the 1990s all over again, and it won't be just drink!!
That can cancel well in advance, concerts not for a year.
Screws up things for everyone else though.
Yeah - refundable stay is best option..
.. might be a bit more expensive in long run but not as expensive as a hotel stay with nothing to go to.

It's far from a new thing, as long as there has been big outdoor concerts in Ireland, there has been day trippers.
Hospital bed will be cheaper than a hotel room, and the IV will fix the hangover.
