Looking back what killed Be Here Now was the track listing.... lots of good songs on bsides so they still had good songs but picked the wrong ones.... if I was to rate BHN I'd give it a 5/10.… being more disciplined and discerning with the songs they chose I'd say there is a 7.5/10 record there…
Girl in the Dirty shirt and Magie Pie.... are two that shouldn't have been on that record… Step Out & Going Nowhere should.... I read an interview with Noel saying he hated Step Out… that's why he didn't have it on the album…. Step out was played live right throughout that tour so… odd
NG always came out with some classic lines back then. He's right about Stipe. An absolute drain, although i'm a huge Thom Yorke fan, REM just never did anything for me unlike Radiohead, who imo were brilliant.
Never cared for girl in the dirty shirt, if felt like a poor version of she's electric. The latter would surely be played on this upcoming tour, tends to get a lot of air play these days. Magic pie could be a lot better if it was reigned in a bit, but that's the main issue with the album as a whole really. Massive ego and cocaine are a hell of a mix 😂. Bonehead formed The Rain / Oasis, he wrote all the early tunes, until Noel joined and took control legally and artistically. Although he is not as talented a songwriter as Noel, he should be respected as a major player in the Oasis story.
Although Gem and Andy were there longer and at the end, they only played on x3 albums, same as Bonehead and Guigsy. The difference been Bonehead and Guigsy played on the 3 classic Oasis albums, when they were at their peak both artistically and in terms of popularity. I hope we get some more solid info on the reformation soon.

For me personally, much and all as I want to go, if I'm not on the pitch it takes away a lot from the gig, as I certainly have no interest in sitting, or trying to dance in a very small confined space. Might give Heaton Park a try!!
Depends on the event. For concerts normally it means bugger all, but I went platinum for a WWE show I'm going to in November because it got me front row seats.

Ye, i'm weighing up the options about which venue is best. You can get flights for next to nothing to anywhere in the UK so travelling part doesn't bother me.
Someone mentioned above Heaton park isn't a great location but it's the only Venue that won't be a stadium which i'd prefer anyway
Unless you buy the plane tickets soon they won't be next to nothing once tickets are sold. Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Cardiff will be pricey as f.
