Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Lol at Ian only getting a half hour. Most of that will be spent ranting about the illuminati.
Not in the same genre at all but they had The Prodigy as support before and Kneecap being Irish might suit too for Croke Park / any Irish dates.
Lightning Seeds in the Academy for a few quid (relatively) if anyone looking for an indoors indie/britpop fix.
Lol, that's why I only gave him a half hour. Theres only so much conspiracy theories and bad versions of Billie Jean I can hear. But it would be nice for the walk on.
The funniest part is that they still haven't even announced anything could be just another PR stunt.
As I saw elsewhere, a man city 3rd kit announcement has never received such interest
MCD put up an ad for the 'Live Forever Tribute Bands' gig in the Academy
Maybe just a coincidence
Why do you want to break my heart?
The classic Wellend! The one in the middle looks like someone's nan. Still can be seen 'in the wild' from time to time. Spotted one recently at a festival in England. Nearly choked.
Black, black, black…
Indeed, they good!!
haha good band , seen them many a time , only saw Oasis the once
It's happening
Yeah Stop crying your heart out
All we know is that we don't know
How it's gonna be
Please, brother, let it be
Was a big Oasis fan back in the day, was at the Tivoli in 94 and then the Point, which I didn’t enjoy so much. Funny though, I’m very meh about a reunion and gigs. I’d have crawled over broken glass to see the Stone Roses (luckily I didn’t have to and managed that a few times!) and for me the Roses were just on a completely different level to Oasis.
The reunion and subsequent gigs will be hyped beyond belief, already today I’ve heard so much about it across radio.
Apparently an announcement will be made tomorrow morning.
Anyone see the fake poster on redit
yes with a heap of great acts?
I don't do reddit. Can someone post if it's not too much trouble?
it’s a fake poster so no point
What’s the “most” people would pay per ticket?
Considering it’s an obvious divorce bill tour, they’re gonna milk it for all it’s worth as it may not ever happen again - I reckon 200 euro will be the cheapest seats- maybe 150 but these will be sh0ite and very few- there will be loads of tickets above 200 euro
I’d probably pay 500 to be honest , I’m self aware of getting milked and it doesn’t bother me for certain things. Standing tickets will be 120eu would be my guess. For an Irish gig I don’t think 500 would get you there if you didn’t get one of the original tickets haha
No shít 🤣
I'm a diehard. Have attended countless Oasis, Beady Eye, Noel and Liam gigs.
I feel they will be able to name their price for this.
Pretty sure they will have a fairly robust world tour but I'd be all for a "residency" in Heaton Park with them playing 9 or 10 nights over a fortnight.
Yeah the thing looks all over the shop
Not sure is the image blow fake too but fits the rumours about Wembley
Heaton Park is a sh1t venue though. Cattle bars and toilets.
Support from Cast, Suede, Suggs, Way Out West and Kula Shaker
Noel G said Macca was the only man to get a standing ovation when he came into their dressing room. Liam named his son Lennon. Oasis worshipped them. McCartney said, saying they were bigger than the Beatles was the kiss of death. George said they lacked depth and Liam was a pain. Was Oasismania bigger than Beatlemania, not from any footage I've seen, there were thousands outside Buckingham Palace when they got their MBEs, many tried to climb the gates or lamp posts to get a better view.
