Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Probably Liam just joining the High Flying Birds in a money making racket.
Not going to any concerts.
Bonehead will be part of it
It would be great to see a height of their powers Oasis do the first two albums.
Hearing them do anything post Morning Glory would be less impressive. They really do just have the two classics and then a lot of mediocrity/borderline shite.
Anyone care to speculate on ticket prices?
Saying the UK gigs will be starting at £100
In fairness, there's a few great songs on all the other albums.
Few b sides and maybe some individual stuff from each of them too. A couple of NGHFBs songs would be well at home on an Oasis set.
Saturday Night main act for the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury
Liked this one...
Have people not attended any big stadium gigs this summer? €100 minimum to get in is pretty standard now. I just paid €180 to see ACDC and I'd buy those tickets again in a heartbeat if given the chance.
Paid €140 for Pearl Jam, fairly standard for a big name these days
god that ok as in it’s not extortionate relative to what it could have been
Theyve a dozen classics. Wonderwalls probably the worst of them
I doubt Andy Bell is going to want to sit out an Oasis tour $$$$$$$. If he doesn’t join up I’d say he’s been jettisoned rather than wanting to just play with Ride, but the HFB were supported by Ride not long ago…so obviously recently he’s been on terms with Noel.
Oasis really can’t be bringing in another player, get beyond a parody..
Off the top of my head hey’ve had about 4/5 drummers, 4 bass players…. It’ll get like one of those ridiculous legacy bands like Black Sabbath who’ve had over 20 members over the X years of touring…..
They’ve only had 2 bass players, but the thing is with Oasis is 99.9% only care as long as Liam and Noel are there
I have no idea what you're saying here to be honest.
Nope, Guigsy, Andy Bell, Scott McCloud… Scott was in the Wonderwall video and in some press photos that were pulled last minute when he walked off the US tour in the middle of it.
I think there was a 4th but I’m struggling to recall who it was, maybe I’m wrong, dunno.

Band pic with Scott here ^^^
Woeful last time they played there
Seen some mention festivals like Mad Cool and Glastonbury
Not a hope they will do any festivals for a few years, they'll play their own concerts and make 5 times more than they would playing a festival.
See the GnR reunion of a few years back, year or 2 of their own shows, reel in the big bucks, then hit the festival circuit after they've cleaned up
oasis will around €180 mark I hear
Mad cool is the exception to Glasto. They have a serious amount of cash to throw around.
really can’t see them getting back together for more than a year tbh! I’d say that thought process will be with a lot of people which will defo drive the demand. I’m still fairly unsure they’ll get back together at all haha
I thought you were referring to tracks rather than albums. My bad
I do think the masterplan is a great album also to go with the first two
I thought they were very average that night and were upstaged by the Prodigy.
I saw them 3 times in 95 and 96 and the PUC was definitely the least good one.I dont think their heads were fully in the game as it was a few days after the Knebworth gigs. The legendary Point gigs in March 96 were the highlight for me.Were good supporting REM.
I loved Oasis growing up and were one of the reasons I learned to play and be in a band.
I think they peaked in 96 and it was mostly downhill from there.I didn't make it to the DM tour (haven't seen them since 96) but I'd be happy if they played mostly DM with some B Sides and a few from Morning Glory.
What's the story morning glory… well, everyone else is at it. [Reunions that is]
Andy Bell
Is that some kind of Oasis / Erasure super group thing ? 😁
Memorial Device gives good Twitter!
You may be saying this tongue in cheek, or for real! The Andy Bell is the bass player for Oasis & played gee-tar for the wonderful Ride before that. A very versatile dude. Seen him play solo, too, in various guises.
Yeah. I mean, they are saying a stint in Wembley & Manchester in July. Which would put Glastonbury at the start and typically something like this would be at end of tour. And 2026 is a fallow year. I know they played Glasto before (and weren't great) but they are mainly associated with Isle of Wight. Plus, yeah, money.
Unless they wanted to stick it to Elton John and Coldplay by drawing an even bigger crowd. So the times don't REALLY lend themselves to Glastonbury. Not impossible but (IMHO) unlikely. I'm sure nobody will deny anything for a while
From Oasismania page
"The tour is expected to take in dates in the UK at the Glastonbury festival and stadiums including Wembley, Twickenham and the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, as well as a run of dates at Liam and Noel Gallagher's beloved Etihad Stadium, home to Manchester City football club.
It is understood that two huge promoters - SJM Concerts and Live Nation - are in the running to land the tour, which would include dates across Europe and in America.
Glastonbury have informed the band that a headline slot at next summer's festival has been 'left open' for Oasis in the increasingly likely event the band confirm a reunion"
Was joking. Saw Oasis support REM in Slane back in 1995, which wouldn't have been before he played for Oasis. I have all their original singles from the first 2 albums too, but lost interest after that.
