Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
I'd say maybe
Will it actually be much different to a Liam Gallagher concert?
who cares, terrible band, extremely bland music, extremely boring…..
I wonder was Liam touring the 30th anniversary of DM a catalyst for this, hope they do bring it across the sea.
Noel's divorce bill more like. They certainly won't skip Ireland, Slane 2025 will be an easy choice for the Mount Charles's
You cared enough to comment…
I care, and so do loads my mates.
Been waiting for this reunion for years. Will happily travel for this
This is the same paper who "exclusively confirmed " that Led Zepplin were going to tour after their one-off reunion a few years ago. They said they got confirmation from Scissor Sisters "Who became friends with Robert Plant after they covered Led Zeppelin's Comfortably Numb"
And yes.... I know there is SO much wrong with that sentence...
I laughed a lot.
well at a guess the millions who will want tickets care. Plonker.
The source isn't The Sun, they're just re-reporting it. General rumours were swirling yesterday and then The Times wrote an article which seems to have kicked everything into overdrive
If it's true I can imagine how hard tickets will be to come by. I know all my mates will want to as we all grew up during their peak and the soap opera it's been since they split will just make demand go through the roof.
going by the last couple of times I saw them there’s no way I’d be forking out my money to see them now. Doubt this reunion is a surprise to many I’d say it’s been planned a couple of years, rumours almost every month for a good while in the press…
They likely won’t be coming to play a few nights at the 3 arena it will be somewhere like the Aviva…. Get in, play, collect their cheque and get out of here.
It would be laughable if they ended up back at the Aviva, site of what surely must go down as one of the worst gigs ever played on Irish soil.
…theres very little of substance with them folks, they havent truly transformed the music industry, nothing ground breaking, just be aware of price gouging tactics currently occurring, especially 'dynamic pricing' which will more than likely be implemented for their gigs, just hold off on buying tickets on initial on sale days, as cheaper tickets will very likely become available eventually, enjoy the gigs though
Yeah, it does look like it's everywhere alright. Jaysus. That's gonna make it even harder to get Glastonbury tickets so because you KNOW people will assume (rightly or wrongly) they will play.
Epic. Surely at least 2-3 gigs in Ireland.
Salty Dog secret set. Lol
That's your opinion, and I'm delighted you took time out of your day to post it.
You're an absolute hero.
I think they've inspired loads of people to pick up guitars and sing. Have a back catalogue that surpasses most touring headliners today.
I wish I went to see the Liam Gallagher def maybe tour but would much rather see the two lads together again.
I reckon I'll try for two gigs in same city just to hear different songs.
10 nights in Wembley is on the cards.
They'll sell out every single 1 of them.
Why do you think the setlists will be different from gig to gig. Most bands have a fixed setlist. Hope fully it is - would make it more interesting.
get them into pairc ui chaoimh.play for 2 weeks and clear the debts 😁
Bands playing multiple nights in the same city for the most part shuffle a couple of songs.
Especially if they have a large back catalogue
For the people that buy multi day tickets.
Think I was at that, Supergrass as support were infinitely better.
PUC May be too small given how much they are looking for per show
i doubt you’ll hear different songs. From the start of one tour to the end of it..their set lists are about 95% identical. Given their extensive experience as touring musicians that’s ridiculous. You have bands like U2, The National, The Stones and more besides who chop and change setlists from night to night and indeed the order the songs are played. Swap out 4/5 for another 4/5…
Always found that strange with Oasis. They have including B-sides a pretty decent collection of good to great songs. Seems a bit lazy. I know if I was a touring musician I’d be quite happy to chop and change.
Oasis though have always been quite a safe live band…. Saw them on the Heathen Chemistry tour and they were excellent…. Following tour, was that for Dig Out Your Soul ? I forget, anyway they were back to Landsdowne Rd levels of crap that night.
Go on, how much?
Yep.
And will pay through the nose for them.
yep , they are the ones that care. Lol
