If this is aimed at my comment which is just before yours it’s quite unfair.
Boots for example arrange your shop in descending price order on their 3for2 offer and give you each 3rd item free, I was simply asking if this is how Lidl are running the promo.
did you read the chat before posting your question ?
the answer is just above
I did, and it is not. The comments before mine refer to someone saying they purchased 3 cheese items and got the cheapest of the 3 free (Which I agree would be how 3 for 2 deals normally works).
However, I asked if anyone had an experience of buying more than 3, for example 6 and if it was item 5/6 on the descending price list was free or was it items items 3 and 6 that were free.
In any event it’s just a chat thread, there is no point arguing over it!
Here’s to many good deals to come!
i was holding myself to comment when first time 3 for 2 question came..could not resist when it came up again😜😜😃
I don't think the qpon would work on the 4th, 5th or 6th item, only the first 3.
In the 2nd paragraph it says "Discount applicable to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 9 of the Products Included purchased per transaction"
They should make it a Leaving Cert subject.
Ha ha - extra discount if you do it through Irish 😁
Thanks @Nollog . I guess I’ll find out for sure when I do my shop tomorrow.
If it’s multi use and limited to a certain number it could then lead to people splitting baskets, which would in turn slow down the tills.
Discount applicable to a minimum of 3 and maximum of 9 of the 'Products Included' purchased per transaction. This coupon is reusable, it will reappear in the 'Treats Section' of your app after each use.
Edited
Did they stop making scratchers the same thing everyday? Is it random now?
Yeah it's reusable for like 30 days or something, if i want more than 3 hammy hams i can just go back.
By the way, the xxl ham is included.
I just got a free bread roll, if you're fast there might be some left! Code OASIS
Edit: all gone now 😔
Which cheese is the best value?
We get the dunnes mild cheese, it tastes miles better than aldi and lidl.
And the mild tastes more mature than the mature from those two.
Tesco's would probably be my second or third choice.
Lidl deluxe mature white cheddar ftw!
(Disclaimer: I've no idea if it's included in that offer, but if you like good cheddar....)
I think the question asked was for the best value and considering taste is subjective maybe lowest price per kg should be the best way of sorting it
Usually mild is cheapest. Aldi have a cheese that's 5 grams heavier then all their other cheeses, which makes it cheaper and I think it's either medium or mature, which is unusual.
Odds on Lidl giving stuff away for the Paralympic medalists?
PARKRUN
I'm getting sorry you have used that code for this week's parkrun
Too early. It only hits in around 8 or 9.
Whoops, thanks, good to know
Lidl isn’t even open yet
mild cheddar (rd/white)..€2.27 for 400 gm block…grated 460 gm is better as well but i prefer blocks
no surprise these days with the parkrun, it’s always the item which is on the weekly special :) by the way-what happens if both are activated? 44%off and free on Parkrun?
😮 .
WTF… i went away for 1 week and price of butter has jumped from 2.99 to 3.39…
In LIDL too now is that the price?
Last weekend they still seemed to have it at 2.99 though it had jumped up elsewhere.
