Fu**kity boo.
I didn't get rid of Quansah in time. Down .1 already, which at this stage is the same as being .5 down.
Am I the only one who immediately sings this Englebert Humperdinck tune every time I read Quansahs name
Tell me when will you be mine
Tell me Quansah, Quansah, Quansah
We can share a love divine
Please, don't make me wait again..
No? Just me then. At least this song is stuck in your head now.
Englebert Humperdinck and FPL in the same sentence, this truly is a strange place.

Due to high ownership it’s very likely that Barco is owned by someone at FPL Towers so they will probably make sure he doesn’t drop in price.
Looks like City have finally signed a good replacement for Gundogan. Gundogan. Wonder what price he will come in at.
Be guessing 5.5m,maximum 6.0m
Has the nail been truly smashed in the Quansah coffin for the season?
45 mins yeah but he played pretty decently last week.
Quansah will get game time when Konate inevitably gets injured
Porro pictured in training today.
He also finished last season as first choice alongside VVD.
I think Quansah was used as a bit of a sacrificial lamb by Slot last weekend to prove a point. Sometimes in situations like that, for a new head coach, it can be easier to make such a point with a younger/fringe player so that the senior players don't lose trust in him so soon into his tenure but at the same time they get the picture that the boss won't accept his standards being met. Klopp used to sub Salah off early in some games to make a point to the squad sometimes, albeit that was a number of seasons in but kept players on their toes.
Agree, he clearly hung him out to dry and he can point to the second half performance as a justification. It will be very interesting to see how Slot plays this now though, does he put him straight back in or will he be left warming his hands on the bench for a bit……. My 2 cents is that he will be benched but who knows!
So I was reading that Konaté will be preferred for the more physical games, but Quansah is better with the ball on his feet…
At home to Brentford at the weekend, I would hope they'd be more concerned with possession, so we should see Quansah play. But I know nothing of Slot and his man management skills or lack thereof.
Nkunku played 58 minutes tonight scoring a penalty.
Glad he scored but not loving this 58 minute substitution business though.
Also Andersen is leaving Palace for Fulam for 30m.Is that not the most sideways transfer move ever. So strange.
Probably more money involved. On 40 points and also have him, Quansah and Barco. Anyway I told Jota, robot and Isak to wait outside the dressing room, while I gave the rest of them who accumulated 15 points between them the hairdryer treatment.
They have 2 weeks or it’s Wildcard time.
Who was the manager (clearly an EPL head) a few years ago who would only substitute players at the 62nd or 63rd minute mark?
It was a joy.
Priced up....
I won't be touching him til possibly the end of the season. Won't be a regular player, there's also a few rumours that he was brought back to help him transition into the coaching staff next year.
Edit: wrong thread
McTominay on way to Napoli, not that anyone here had him.
Looks like Nkunku is a busted flush. Bad enough he didn't start but Neto first on from the bench. Madueke two goals from the right with Palmer in the middle. He's not getting in that team.
McTominay on way to Napoli, not that anyone there had heard of him
Have you two accounts?
Why do you ask?
The posts both sides of mine are eerily similar.
McTominay on way to Napoli, not that anyone there or here had him or even heard of him
I did that intentionally. A lazy attempt at humour.
Anyone hear anything about McTominay's future?
