some shining vibes in some of the rooms on this one, take an awful lot to get this up to modern standards :
Broghan House on c. 7 Acres, Broughan Lane, Ward, Co. Dublin, D11WP08 is for sale on Daft.ie
Nice house but layout of kitchen in relation to utility and back door would annoy me. Groceries need to be walked through the house. I know it’s a small thing to be annoyed about but I can’t help it.
Also bedroom (3?) looks like door would hit door of en-suite if both open.
I do love the garden
But if you had the money to put into it, it could be gorgeous.
That house in the Ward is right at the end of the north runway, check map and zoom out a bit.
Extra a few bob for sound proofing to whatever remodeling needs doing.
Ah, that must be why the EA didn't mention developers in the blurb.
And almost straight on aswell 1 mile away so planes flying 300 feet over your house every 5 minutes, forever. No thanks.
what about this gem : I wonder when someone lived in it last.
Main Street, P43KF98 is for sale on Daft.ie
New roof for starters.
I love the skylights in the roof 😂
Not only can I smell the photos but I can taste them too 🤢 🤢 🤢
I do hate seeing houses like this, they were at one time someone's home. How and why they get into such a state.
Surely thats a demolish and start again job.
Sad to see in such a state.
Why does a prospective buyer have to give all the details outlined in the blurb? Did the council take it over as a derelict property?
It looks like an old rubble labourers cottage without foundations. Complete rebuild job but a cheap site unless a couple of people want it.
Entrance way with fitted carpet…
Lovely place

We had a suite with a pattern similar to this at home in the very early 80s. I remember it because I have a photo of my Mam sitting on it, and she is pregnant with my youngest brother. He's 42 now.
The only thing wrong with Apple Tree House is the one and three-quarter million price tag, otherwise I would sell up and buy it tomorrow. Its gorgeous, especially the gardens, but I like the whole thing. The first photo looks like a jigsaw picture.
Edit: daughter says it would be no use to me as it doesn't need anything done to it, I would have no excuse to hack and haul at it and change bits. 🙄
oh that’s gorge!!!
"An alluring opportunity"
"A viewing of this truly unique property is a must"
Fantastic.
It's a lovely house.
BUT….my one tiny gripe. That creepy art installation would have to go. It would freak me out. I'd imagine it coming alive and creeping around at night.
That's not actually at the house. It's a few miles away in the town of Rathmullan.
It's a sculpture commemorating the flight of the earls.
Weird that they included it in their house listing so!
It looks like a weird slide in the back garden of the house with hands reaching out of the grass opposite to catch you if go down too fast. 😂
I was confused because the figure near the bottom has something projecting like a tail that you'd impale yourself on.
For those who've always dreamed of living in a multi story car park from the 80s
It's amazing how photos of a $5m house can evoke the smell of stale urine.
If you look at the other photos you will see it is pretty amazing. I get some tastes differ but I like it all. I like concrete floors and when you put in furniture it will transform the space. Much more like a gallery than a car park
Strange attachment with this one, look at the pdf in the brochure link…

Reminds me of a nursing home. Has that vibe to it.
I think someone made a big mistake attaching that document as a brochure😂
they reference it in the text of the advert as well though, its like something the owners have written, a collection of musings!
taken down now
Still there for me
Me too.
Yes, me too. Just read through it and at the end it says it was compiled by the vendor. Right enough, a bit of obsession.
