Living in a church conversion wouldn't appeal to me, but I can certainly appreciate the time and effort they put into this one.
It's definitely one of the better conversions I've seen.
Oh wow, that is really well done. Very sympathetically renovated into a home while retaining and celebrating original features. I love the idea of having a bath under the stained glass window 😊
The bed in the room with the rose window looks a bit lost on it's own but I'd imagine that is a spare room. Fantastic. Great find!

That is special, my only gripe would be traipsing to the utility room for the fridge and dishwasher when there's plenty of room in the kitchen. It's beautifully done though, kudos to whoever designed the conversion.
That's probably one of the best conversions I have ever seen, on the thread. Whoever did that really knew what they were doing, imo.
I'd feel I couldn't walk on the tiles and had to jump from mat to mat like it was some type of game.
The conversion is beautifully done, but I just realised as I was looking at the photos that the church aspects of it as a home were actually stressing me. No, I couldn't live in it.
I wouldn't want to live in a conversion either, of a school or a church. It just wouldn't appeal to me at all. That particular one is very well done though. Someone who knew what they were doing and had the money to do it properly, by the looks of it.
It surprising that they did nothing with the exterior to make it a little more inviting and a lot less dour. Coming home to that on the 363 days of the year when it's not all blue skies and bright sunshine would not gladden your heart. Planting, lighting, anything to break that grim grey stonework.

I think that it's awful. I'd spend my time in the kitchen and the sun room out of it as they are the only two rooms that look any way welcoming.

The woman that lived in there died recently in a car crash. She was turning into the boreen the house is on from the main road and a car hit her from behind and pushed her into a car coming towards her.
I dont think it looks great from the outside at all. Its a good site but Id have to knock the house and rebuild. I hate the interior and exterior - I like nothing about it at all. I dont know what look they were trying to carry off

That might explain my fondess for it, I was born there. Can't quite explain why I like it but I just do. It wouldn't be my cup of tea normally but I love the porch area at the front door and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge give it the potential to be a lovely space, especially looking out onto that mature garden. The excessive timber would need to be neutralised somehow.
Looks like there's an outdoor "fridge" to the side of it as well. Plenty of people build outdoor fires these days, but at least this one is covered so you can actually sit out in the fresh air on the many raining evenings we get and enjoy it.
I'm the opposite, the outside is not particularly pretty, but the wood panelling is very nice, very Scandinavian vibe.

This house was up for sale before. Always loved this one. Beautiful proportioned. Has a French/Italian vibe.
Lovely house, great sized rooms, beautifully landscaping and a proper veg garden but I just don't think the 'feature staircase' fits….
Yep, the floor tiles are off too, but both easily fixed if the house and all the maintenance are within your budget. It really is lovely.
Lots to like about that house… I'd actually love that space at the top of the stairs as a workspace / place for my books. (Though I'd prefer different bannisters).
Weird how there is only pictures of 3 of the 6 bedrooms. None of the garage. It kind of seems like good value given it it is B3 rating
