From the bits I heard yesterday on the drive home it wasn't too bad, certainly better than some of the other replacement hosts they've used.

His actual show plus two separate recordings of his 5 O'Clock morning show. Little Mix, Adele, Taylor Swift, Quilty himself and a Dave Moore promo all airing at once.
Is she doing Music Master? I don't think it was on last week when whoever filled in for him was filling in for him.
They appear to be making it an exclusively Dave run competition now.
Looks like most of the weekday slots took a hit in the latest JNLR, gains at the weekends though.

Unsurpised. TodayFM really has felt quite stale recently.

I have mostly stopped listening to it over the last 6 months or so, I find the constant Cash machine adverts annoying.
You will hear it mentioned on all the Bauer Media owned stations, which is quite a lot now!

Rte have been the real winner in the Cash Machine overdrive.
They play a Bruno Mars song at least once an hour. He makes me irrationally angry.

So he was being paid 80k before they cut his hours. That seems a resonable salary for an experienced broadcaster. Its pretty much in line with what I thought rte would offer Callan. Instead they just backed a dumptruck full of money on his door step.

Ian's a national treasure but he comes out with a least one quote worthy of Alan Partridge every single day. I love it.

I can't listen to Quilty at all, straight back to Nova each day with Foley not around.
He's a breath of fresh air in comparison to the manchild Foley.

For me, he's the Coke Zero, to Foley's Coke Classic. I know Foley can be puerile, but I enjoy him. Maybe Dara Quilty just needs to find his own JP to position himself as a primetime DJ, I do worry he's in danger of become a reliable fill-in like Phil Cawley was and not being recognised as someone who can hold down their own show.
