Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
When the fcuk were those journey shows announced? Literally no memory of them.
Yeah it was pretty ambitious tbf
Maybe something like in 2009 with Def Leppard & Whitesnake on the bill
"Due to circumstances beyond the band's control, Journey's UK and Ireland tour is unfortunately cancelled"
I guess that is partially true, Journey cant force people to buy tickets.
No surprise really. Very ambitious trying to sell out arenas.
They are an utterly abysmal band too.
Journey have literally 1 hit on this side of the Atlantic.
And it's s*ite too
God damn the Sopranos. Nova love it..must play it 3 times a week. Think it's just to piss me off
I'd never heard it before the Sopranos used it. It was a top 10 hit in 1982 but had been largely forgotten (here at least, I think they're bigger in the US).
Sales were okay, it's apparently an issue over the use of the bands credit card by the two guitar players and they are sueing each other
When are tickets on sale? Any presale?
Think the episode was titled 'My Journey'
The is also the unofficial theme for Waterford GAA. Although we don't like to talk about it haha
This was the first time i heard it. I never get tired of it (though the radio does try to break me).
Caribou live in Belfast, £25
Anyone else presale not working for this?

Giant Sand, Bello Bar, Friday 8th November:

Oh wow! In Bello Bar?!
Muireann Bradley doing Leisureland in Dec. That’s a hell of a leap from the Róísín Dubh, quadruple the capacity. Nothing announced yet but I assume the same will be happening in other cities, Vicar St., etc.
Went to see Aslan at the Mandela Hall a few years back and as I was walking in there was a guy standing at the back and I thought I recognised him. Took a few seconds to realise it was Pearse Doherty. Lovely guy - happy to chat and pose for a photo!
A photo with Pearse? Wow, such a treat!
Wow. Rock n’ Roll.

Sorry! I forgot you were the sad **** round here…
Bahahaha.
Some real pr1cks posting here tonight! I was simply replying to the earlier poster who mentioned randomly meeting one of the Saw Doctors.
But these d1ckheads seem to have a problem with this.
Huh? I’m not the one calling people names and telling others to “go **** themselves” (which I note you’ve since edited/deleted).
As in what the **** was your problem with my initial post?
Meh.
