Well hello
Imagine you'll skip ques and all that but some price indeed
A week away, time is flying
Was going to wait until last minute to pick up a cheaper ticket but after seeing where the coach park is i'm not gonna bother
3.5KM walk each way…not a chance
You can get on a Dublin Bus from Whitehall straight down Drumcondra Road and get dropped off a few minutes walk from Croke Park.
From the coach park to the bus stop is about 100 yards.
And on the way back after the gig, sure roads will be closed and mental queues
They'll still be running at that time. Yes, there'll be a Q but they're usually well managed, same as on busy match days, with a few buses waiting just outside the dart station.
will there be resale tickets for this like there was for PJ? All I can see on Ticketmaster is Suite tickets.
Pretty sure resale is disabled atm. Though if you want to buy/sell you can use Twickets and maybe Toutless as well
Managed to get a ticket for this but haven’t been paying attention for past few months - is there a support act? Can’t seem to find any mention
The pretty reckless are supporting
…some more 'cheaper' tickets on sale there now, including more expensive suite tickets…..
I wonder why it's disabled when other gigs it's enabled ?
to force people buy unsold tickets instead,
bingo
Wonder do they throw in a bit of spread for the suite tickets ?
…id imagine theres something with those prices, but shur standard seated tickets werent much different in price….
nope nothing. Just direct access to plenty of toilets and bars.
fcuking hell, thats outrageous
sure only €20 difference between them and other seats.
Barley make 3 pints for €20
Imagine been MCD it's going to be Heineken and not the lovely Rockshore ?
Hey all, I've 3 standing tickets available. Happy to sell face value /ono. Genuine reason for not being able to go myself. Can transfer via ticketmaster.
If anyone interested dm me on this to arrange.
There seems to be a never ending release of extra tickets for this concert despite it supposedly selling out on the first day.
Yet there have been hardly any extra tickets released for Coldplays' 4 concerts.
Something doesn't add up.
The probably vastly overestimated their ability to sell €500 dynamic pricing tickets and have had to drip feed them back onto the market at a more "normal" price of €180. It wasn't really dynamic pricing at all though, just extortionate tickets available for a short period just after the gig "sold out". After that anything I saw go up for sale was at the original prices.
I bought 2 standing tickets and a while later 2 front standing tickets at the original price, months after the gig first sold out.
not really. Demand is different. All the suite tickets weren’t snapped up for ac D.C. hence deluge of them now.
I've a feeling the pitch/stadium could be half empty.
There are only so many people you can milk with the dynamic pricing model. It thinks it stinks. I’d be a big AC/DC fan, would have the money spend if I wanted to but I really can’t see value in seeing them now. I know for a fact I’m not going to suffer from FOMO or anything like it.
€180 for a standard ticket (which means with a certain +1 its costing €400 odd quid). In terms of bang for your book. There are infinitely more concert experiences which would be worthy of your money.
What amount of audiences now are just “event junkies” or tick the bucket listers?
Any idea what time they will be on stage? and rough finishing time? Driving up from Cork and will be under a bit of pressure time wise..
Well Coldplay are playing 4 nights, so premium level seat holders would only be going one night of the 4 so what happened the other 3 nights tickets ?
Seems to be alot of backdooring of tickets.
Doors 5. Support at 7pm so AC/DC on about 8:15 - 10.30 ish Id say.
…this has always been the case, i know a chap that use to work for a ticketmaster agent back in the 90's, twas happening back then to, its the joys of monopolisation, ticketmaster and major promoters can do as they like, and they do….
As predicted - it was never "sold out" … it was to create panic and FOMO to jack up prices. Also as predicted - serious amount of tickets being offloaded on Toutless.
know a few premium ticket holders who are splitting up the pairs they have, going a night themselves and family friends snapped up in minutes in WhatsApp chats etc.
