Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Fair enough. Completely forgot about the NCH gig in 2018 (i wasn't at it). I won't be bothering with this gig myself as seeing him 2 or 3 times already is enough for me.
He played Vicar Street a few times, many years ago (1998 [the first time I'd been to Vicar Street], 2001 and 2003) and he was in the National Concert Hall in 1999 and 2018, but I'm not sure what size audience he'd draw now.
And a Monday too. Tempted though. Enjoyed the new abum.
Shambles of a link btw. Says
On sale this Thursday, 12th Sept at 10 am
And then when you click the "buy tickets" link it brings you to Caleb Johnsons gigs on TM
John Cale, Vicar Street, Monday 31st March: https://singularartists.ie/show/john-cale/
Bit big for Cale i'd have thought. Don't think i've ever seen him anywhere larger than the Button Factory.
yeah similar to how they used Glasgow ovo for live shows this year. London will get a massive one next year. Plus WWE always wants host cities to throw bags of cash at them now to host live shows which I doubt Dublin council would even consider
Tbh that's just a house show/non televised show so demand would never be massive vs a live show. If there was a live show I'd guess they'd still use the 3Arena

similar to last year, €290 + €10.50 fees, think i’l wait for the EP loyalty scheme on Wednesday
nah not going to happen. WWE doing the 3 arena in November and I’d say they will return next year again for a 3 arena show. the wwe november show hasn’t even sold out yet. Little to no chance they have enough demand for a stadium show here
Nothing major rumoured yet anyway
Would anyone know if the WWE is planning a stadium show in Dublin for next year? Would most likely be either croke park or the Aviva stadium
Whitehall GAA, About 30 min walk to Croker from there
Makes too much sense but why don't they have shuttle buses from there up and down
Where do the buses park for croke park ? Going to see coldplay in a few weeks and have never gone up by bus thanks so much

Pulling out of the bus park after ACDC and Oasis comes on the radio

Youd think they could wait a day or two so as people dont have to get up early after a weekend in Stradbally.
loyalty is just a discounted price sale, it’s not really a pre sale by any means and there isn’t a set allotment for loyalty sales it’s just how many get used before all 75,000 get bought up
Gotta be wrong! Why would you have a loyalty presale starting at the same time as the general onsale?
odd EP 2025 is onsale for the Three Presale, before, the EP Loyalty scheme, normally EP Loyalty Scheme is first opportunity to buy
I think they did a NYE show in Sugar Club last year too.
If it's the same band they were good.
Caught These guys at ATN they were brilliant! Would highly recommend
Tbe last time I was in The Ambassador was in the early 80’s to see the Talking Heads movie Stop Making Sense. I seem to remember that downstairs was standing.
They have monthly screenings in the lighthouse, people don't stay sitting for long.
They used to have late night screenings of Stop Making Sense in the Ambassador cinema.
Stop Making Sense (Talking Heads Tribute show)
Ambassador Theater Jan 25th
Be interesting to see what gigs they put on in here. This is definitely not a seated type gig.
Noel says 'no'

I’m sure they will end up doing a summer show or festival next year but doubt it will be malahide
I've had to put the brakes on buying any more tickets for the time being but I'm gonna make an exception for that.
The Murder Capital are the same and yet they played in the Olympia last year.
They aren't going to let a promoter get in the way of them if that's what they want.
Very very unlikely, malahide a mcd venue and singular artists promote all their shows in ireland.
