Well hello
You can get on a Dublin Bus from Whitehall straight down Drumcondra Road and get dropped off a few minutes walk from Croke Park.
From the coach park to the bus stop is about 100 yards.
Was going to wait until last minute to pick up a cheaper ticket but after seeing where the coach park is i'm not gonna bother
3.5KM walk each way…not a chance
Imagine you'll skip ques and all that but some price indeed
A week away, time is flying
…could be these, corporate boxes i guess….
https://crokepark.ie/meetings-events/spaces/space-listing/all-star-suites
…saucy at over 200 each….
I'm looking for one seated ticket. TB only selling "Suite" tickets - what are these?
I put my single available ticket on my Facebook status yesterday once I knew transfer was now available. I sold it tonight. Transaction went smoothly as buyer and I had 2 mutual friends that were able to testify that I was legit.
Cheers for the replies, was thinking it would be the case to avoid mad traffic closer to the park.
I'm not bothered about the walk but I'll have the young lad with me and booked the travel master bus thinking it would be the handiest to get back to with him.
Ah well, looking forward to it either way.
It's on ok walk, it'll feel longer on the way back
Few pubs and stuff on the walk down to Quinns. It's going to be a pain for the Cusack Stand entrance but look what can ya do
There might be 'Dublin Bus' routes that pass
as you said, tis all a matter of opinion, done plenty of long walks post slane, fcuk that…..
Yeah, not really great if you're old. I've done it a few times for games in croke park. Parked in the car park across the road from Whitehall GAA cos it's free and walked down.
But I'm not old so didn't feel too bad. Was just relaying my own personal experience, not sure there's a need to reply in the manner you did tbh unless I'm picking it up wrong.
…fcuk that, it most certainly does, 45mins is 45mins, especially if on the feet all day, joys of aging…..
It wouldn't feel that long when you're walking in a crowd. If they had the buses any closer, it'd be carnage. Whitehall has easy access to M1 and M50 and is big enough to cater for buses and a crowd of people.
But it's not gonna feel like a 45min walk when you're in a crowd all heading the same way.
Has anyone used or is using the Travelmaster concert bus to Croke Park gigs before?
Just got an email from them this afternoon to say that their parking location for AcDc will be The Whitehall Coach Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/tKsYi23CCqC5ePn4A), which is 45 minute walk away. Is this normal as it seems quiet a distance to go to get back on the bus afterwards.
how much?
Try Twickets. I am going to use it.
What is the best way to sell tickets? I have tried Toutless but can't sign up, adverts not allowing them, TicketSwap doesnt work for mobile tickets in Ireland.
I have 1 standing I'm looking to sell. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Toutless not allowing new accounts. I have never sold tickets before.
Thanks, I'll try toutless. Adverts won't allow them.
No, You need to go to adverts or toutless
Can we sell tickets here? I have two seated tickets in section 315, unlikely to be able to make it next Saturday.
as some smarty pants said, its in the name, maps available on the internets there, look very nice, but come at a nice price to, at over 200 per, available there again now
Was in front standing for Rammstein in the RDS and I'd say it was about 1/3 of the pitch. Funny how you used to get pit passes just for turning up and queuing for the gig early, now they just sell you a pit pass built into your ticket and the pit is about 10 times bigger. To be fair front standing was only €30 more than regular standing so not like it was an extortionate increase... more like the regular standing tickets were extortionate to begin with.
Yeah thats half the piitch, or half of the area of people standing. Last 20 metres or so before the Dav is always empty.
Its much bigger than Springsteens pit for example.
Also curious about this 🤔
ah it wasn’t. It was around 45 metre line and slightly curved in. Same as it was for garth brooks etc
It was nearly half the pitch for The Stones
I expect the Ticketmaster one is correct, and they've just made it bigger on the PDF to be able to fit all the arrows on
In that new PDF the "front pitch" is like half the pitch but when I bought "general standing" the "front pitch" was only a quarter of the pitch on the Ticketmaster page.
Which one is correct I wonder?
Bus is parking in Whitehall like for Garth Brooks
The walk will be a bit of a pain particularly for the red route. Ah sure what can ya do
as they name suggests they are seats at the suite level.
