this is like something straight from a horror movie!!
Maybe some kind of prepper type. I bet that room was filled with guns and supplies, looks they had shelving installed. This is house from the back. Well insulated anyway 😄 and definitely tornado proof which is probably needed there
That's a really weird house, is this the back of it or a bunker with the safe room? Some of the rooms look like they don't have windows.
Snap! 🤣🤣
Nice house and all but the area is too built up for my liking.
The flowery curtains & blinds, with shiny pine flooring, def not my taste!
Seems like they have a curtain over a bedroom door?
Furniture plays a part in selling a house.
It's absolutely true, empty rooms I just scroll right past.
This one belongs (according to the Irish Times) to an interior designer and I scanned every room carefully to critique it in my mind!

Which is funny, because I am the complete opposite!
I would rather an empty or almost empty room, as I find it easier to get a sense of the size and space and can imagine my own stuff there.
I'm also nit picky about checking out things like skirting boards, radiators, plumbing pipes, and electrical sockets, wires etc. ;)
Having said that, that house in Ballsbridge is very nicely done.
I especially love the dark sofa in the kitchen, flanked by the two tan armchairs. I wouldn't have thought that would work, but it does, with the ceiling beams (and I hate beams).
Also the dark ceiling in the dining room also works, whereas normally I wouldn't be a fan of a dark painted ceiling.
Never liked the idea of the cooking implements being located like this:
Hmm, I need to stir this boiling pot, let me just reach across it to grab the spoon …
There should be some software that would allow you to take all the stuff out and put your own stuff in. Maybe there is?
I'm a very nosey and very judgemental person, so of course I'll be looking at your furniture and pictures and wotnot, but if I'm looking as a buyer I'll definitely be eyeing up the maintenance and structural aspects too!

I'd love the pool, but i'd be driven demented by the leaf's in the autumn.
It has a cover, they have just tucked it neatly away. You can see it in photo 3.
Lovely house - interior is lovely. The master seems to have 2 ensuites side by side which is something I havent seen before - I would probably change it to one huge ensuite instead ( in my dreams that is!)
I'd say one of those is the walkin wardrobe?
No there is a walk in wardrobe/dressing room on the other side of the room ( as you walk into the room). Its definitely 2 ensuites on the floorplan here.
I like the sliding library ladder for the high units in the kitchen.
Ah yes. Unusual alright.
The plans suggest two ensuites as you can see there is a WIW too
Playing Lotto this weekend 😌
That Waterford house perfect.
The Ballsbridge house is beautiful apart from the smelly gym at the end of the garden.
Kitchen/living area is stunning. I'd love a place like that.
The Waterford house is amazing!!!! Why do I have to be poor????????? :-)
And dust sticking to grease splashes. 😬😬
I think 2 separate ensuites is a great idea, no arguing over the toilet seat being left up, not dealing with someone else's poo smells or bad aim, all your skin care and toiletries laid out just as you want them. I love that walk in dressing room too although I'd need a serious shopping trip to fill one side of the room. 😄
The house that led me to this thread is up for auction.
It's just such a depressing house, I don't know how you could improve it.
And 2 ensuites to clean - would drive me mad but I guess if I could afford to buy the house I could have a cleaner in 5 days a week.
It really is keep the kids in a separate wing! Also, did I miss it, or is there no photo of this?
Why have a study in the hall, when you have all those bedrooms?
That house has been on before. I remember someone joking that Jordan and Aaron have moved out!
