Serious bargain at the moment. I purchased in store with a Tesco sim no bother. I had to purchase a €20 sim plan for one month
Also it is sim free.
Probably the best phone bargain for a long time.
Enjoy

well it's been delivered to AddressPal by EE but not showing on my AP account yet. I've never used AP before - I assume they just bulk ship everything that arrives at the London address to Ireland and then sort it here?
They used to send out email notifications not long after receiving your parcels, so you received AnPost tracking while parcels were still in the UK. But it's been several years since I last used AP, maybe they do it differently now.
I used AP from the US recently and I received the An Post tracking when the package was processed at the AP address in NJ.
got an email from them looking for the invoice to calculate the VAT, so they have it at least.
Let us know when you hear back what it works out as with the VAT
I figured about €305 altogether - the phone hit my card at €240, +55 VAT +10 An Post charges.
picked up the 8a from Oohpod in Jonesboro today. cracking deal at €240.
What is Jonesboro?
Its OohPod main office just across the NI border on M1/A1.
Get UK purchases delivered there & drive up to pick up from their lockers.
my first time using it. very smooth service.
Thanks. Where did you get the pixel deal?

nice - I bought mine on the 2nd so just about qualify for the earphones.
same as!
could anyone recommend a decent charger plug? phone only comes with a lead.
Great success!
got charged €51 VAT (including the AnPost fee).
Anker's chargers are generally pretty good, get them on Amazon.
You could have sent it to Postal Pickup in Derry and only pay 15€ to be delivered here.No duty and VAT.Im using them for all my stuff from UK.No hassle at all. They are similar to old Parcel Motel.
Do they post south of the border or do you have to collect up there?
They post. Its 10£ + size of your parcel(s/m/l)5/7/10£.Up to 30kg.If you close to them you can collect for 3£.
I usually order small to midsize parcels so its 10+3 or 10+5 delivered to Galway
Grand. Great idea. My mules in the UK are tired of my continuous bargains ;-)
pretty sure VAT/duty should still be due if they're providing a forwarding service to the RoI, not sure how long they'll be able to get away with that. It's exactly the reason PM discontinued their service.
Im not tax expert but there is not tax and duty from UK to N.I.and Iwas afraid that as well but I've been using them for over a year and once they got your parcel they post from Ireland not Derry .You can choose either Fastway or an Post. They biggest parcels I ordered was set of alloys.Saved 450€ on tax and duty😁
At a guess they are probably getting delivered to NI, walking over the border with the package, and then forwarding from ROI
That is exactly what they do
as a loophole it sounds dubious, though I'm not sure what Revenue can do about a NI based company.
What info do they require
Do they need a receipt to show what the item is or do they forward on blindly
If anyone is looking for a new 7a let me know. I got the 8a yesterday.
Would anyone have any links to a good UNLOCKED phone(whether it be using an old simcard or just bringing in from UK or other)?
Phone has to have a good spec(ram, storage, battery and camera)
OnePlus Nord 3 5G 16GB/256.You wont find better phone for less than 400.Its 399 from one plus or around 290 from aliexpress(vat included)
What would that work out if the ali delivery got hit for duty ?
