Surely that’s it. But given how the judges are, you’d be worried.

Kellie is fantastic. That's as tough an opponent as you'll meet in this tournament. Should be another gold on the way for Ireland.

I'm no sports expert, but I do know Northern Ireland, so I would guess that it depends on the sport as well as the person. You're correct that some unionists would, especially in the past, be so bigoted that it would be "TeamGB or nothing", but I think that's less common among the younger generations. TBF it was also about staying safe - back in my day being on the "wrong" side of somewhere could get you killed, so a young working class protestant thinking of joining a "catholic" club of some sort would have been putting himself in danger from his own side, apart from anything else. With the end of the troubles, that's much less of an issue. (Trinity, and rugby, were always available for the upper middle class protestants).

Nowadays though, it's about weighing the opportunities: in practice, there's a much better chance of being selected for Ireland than for GB, just by the number of possible candidates. So if your sport is one where training conditions in the south are pretty good, then it's probably a net plus. OTOH if it's a sport where the UK have really put in large amounts of money, then the downside of staying in Ireland is that you might still be selected for Ireland, but you won't get anywhere internationally.

I'm not sure if this is what you were asking. Apols if I've just explained the bleedin' obvious, but you did seem to want an answer!

Yeah, refused entrance and then not allowed to use the warm up track.

At times I think Harrington gets put unfairly in Katie Taylor's shadow. She's one of the greatest female fighters ever in her own right.

Ah my bad! Who is she boxing?

Ignore can see it is Yang Wenlu has she boxed her before I wonder.

I haven't a clue but according to bookies odds this was the "final".

Don't count your chickens though with these judges.

Wasn’t taking anything for granted until the announcer said ‘red’.

    Great great win!

    RTE presenter (Darragh) on Boxing…

'What do you mean managing her distance'!!…

Did he just get confused there for a second, or trying to ask for new followers in the general public??
