One more sleep till tickets go on sale.
Much checking of camper vans today ?
Token searches of bags at Boutique but very light handed
very light handed searches in boutique all right…..havnt gone into main arena yet but already loving it and loving the vibe. Gonna be a great wkend
Did the what’s app group get set up? Can someone leave a link for it please? Scrolled back a few pages and can’t find it. On the way down now.
Well Glass Beams have made my weekend and it's barely Friday night
Mind blowing
it was a looong walk from the bus drop off to boutique. Not many could direct us so had to make do ourselves and follow the perimeter of the fence until we came to it. Was at least 45mins. Not the greatest starts arriving aching and in a ball of sweat but the first can mostly made up for it ☺️
I hear you, I had to keep stopping on the way, sweated pounds away. Worth it in the end 😅
Glass Beams were Savage 🔥
I see a few people walking around main areana with camping chairs - how.does one manaage that?
Only a couple of hours here and managed to go over on my ankle coming out of the loo...the amount of divits is something to behold
The bar situation is terrible. Only branded bars which sell nothing else other than their own products. If you fancy a glass of wine there is only one bar which sells small 150ml measures for a tenner. Guinness or Rockshore is not a pleasant choice.
The bar was flagged well ahead of time
Fizzy Orange very decent!!
I absolutely love this festival. Hope everyone’s having a ball
100% would love some craft beer. Not there this year but ended up just bringing my own and getting ice on the cans
Hopfully superb. Sadly the Irish organiser greed doesn't allow for it. Anywhere.
You obviously haven't found the wine bar then?
I did indeed, as mentioned. Neighbourhood Wine Bar.
My bad, are they selling 150mls for €10??
Fcuk that!!
Managed to get a ticket last minute for tomorrow, haven’t even looked at the lineup. Is there anything that’s an essential see? Any highlights of what areas to check out?
Thanks
Between €8-10. Neighbourhood selection is good and sure you wouldn’t get a bottle in their shops for less than €30-40
Folks, I'm thinking of driving home tonight instead of tomorrow mng. Gonna pack up in the afternoon, come back in for the tunes & head out home after Prodigy.
Assume no issues with leaving carpark late at night?
I’ve never had any issues in the past.
Bit cooler out there this morning
Losing my wallet aside 😔, having a belter of a weekend so far.
Confidence Man deserved main stage - proper cheesy fun. Great craic!
Le Boom were savage too.
Seen The National probably 8 times now but there were on top form last night. Matt even decided to swap jacket with my wife towards the end! 😄
So if anyone has photos of videos of him in the sequin jacket, she'd appreciate it.. but think there is some on social media now.
Main Stage Day today.
Enjoy the rest of it all!
Lots getting caught sneaking in without wristbands ....
They close the entrances at 10pm I think. Well they did on Friday anyway.
That's only if you need to get a wristband. You can leave whenever you like.
Great. Thank you.
Any food truck tips? Again they are all extortionate prices, but what can you do. The little dumplings place by the main stage is hard to beat for a tasty meal. Good weekend so far. I think they ballsd up with a weak enough lineup this year tbh, and hasn't anywhere near sold out as a result. Not complaining, nicer to have a few less people here. The site has looked great with all the extra artwork this year. Enjoy the last day folks!
Bites by Kwangi is excellent
