Funnily enough this kind of thing happens in nature all the time…..
Yeah seriously. I know people too and no one I know does this. And as someone who owns the equipment you're referring to, I can safely say that I've never emptied a septic tank and spread it on someone elses land. I have emptied some and spread it on the owners land though. I have emptied some and brought it for disposal, or emptied and stored while the tank was being repaired.

Great, So you do what you should do. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen all over the country. You don't know anyone who does it, I know plenty.
Divorce or moving abroad seems most likely reason these mega homes come up in rural areas. Nobody is building these to sell. Moving abroad not uncommon in the exec world at the money levels required for these homes.
I dont think debt is a factor in most of these cases in a strong economy, even idiots are making money, different story when a wide recession hits.
A masterclass in creating a tacky monochrome scheme without any redeeming features, although I do like the bum gun in the bathroom.
I'd say they are more to clean the toilet after making a mess rather than spraying it at your ass as it would make one hell of a mess on the floor if you used it like you said.
Ah there's a knack, very easy to use 🙂
I've just noticed they have one for each loo, definitely cleaner and more environmentally friendly than toilet roll.
Not sure I would want one that guests have access to. That could get messy
Slough is very ethnically diverse with a large Pakistani & Indian population, so would be a common enough bathroom fixture in houses there.
I can just imagine what an enthusiastic 8 year old could do with it.
Cons: Dislike the exterior, hate the interior monochrome decor and especially the horrible blue lights. But I knew immediately when I saw the shiny white floor tiles everywhere, this wasn't going to be good.
I have matt white floor tiles in my bathroom and I HATE THEM. When they are freshly washed and clean, they are nice. But they only stay clean for about 5 minutes and I could wash them 5 times a day, but they will show every speck of dust. I can't imagine having them throughout a house. White floor tiles is a mistake I will never repeat.
Pros: Nice big rooms, but a lack of light in some of them. Bathrooms are plentiful, and also generous sizes.
What is the point of the unconnected pieces of cornice in the sitting room?
I'm not entirely sure what the story is here. Low enough price for a pretty large property.
BER G, no inside pictures and no details of the accommodation. It's probably a kip and Clonmel is supposed to be a rough spot.
The price isn't particularly low for Tipperary. It looks a bit of a mess being honest from the outside so I can only imagine what the house is like on the inside. It's hard to tell but possibly there is ALOT of scrap out back to get rid of aswell.
Would suit someone who wants to run a business that needs a large yard.
Overall it's not that attractive and possibly may be alot more trouble than it's worth. Possibly a repossession which would account for the lack of quality pictures.
What's the story here? An estate trying to look like castles

Should there be a limit to the number of photos allowed. 117! I gave up after 50-odd.
That is unbelievable that anyone gave planning permission for it. Brutal. The inside has potential, not keen on the way it looks at the moment, but it could be made quite attractive, but the outside is beyond horrible, and made worse by there being an estate full of toy castles.
Giant glazed windows, no machicolations, a piss-poor attempt at a partial curtain wall; how are you supposed to defend this place? You'd have a horde of Viking raiders in your sitting room before you know it.
Doesn't happen. Human septic tank waste requires a lot of treatment prior to being any use to farmers. It comes back in as a dry black material. Simply spreading direct from septic tanks on to land would (a) be of little use pre-treatment from (b) be quite dangerous as the bacteria would take so long to break down that grazing animals would have to be kept off it for an inordinate time ( C) immediately evident to any farm inspection as the toilet roll (+wipes etc.) don't break down immediately and would lead to an automatic loss of payments and world of hurt in the form of repeat inspections and red tape. (d) The farmer would have to spend their time walking behind the machines and scooping up the detritus as they'd also potentially end up being picked up in forage crops and contaminate their winter feed. (e) would be quite evident for locals for a long time that it's being done once , never mind repeatedly. I spread pig slurry before, one dose was enough to have people asking questions. (f) It would contaminate machinery; the time spend having to decontaminate it would make it unviable. Also the spills and leaks with ordinary farm slurry are bad enough without it being human waste.
In short, you've been spun a load of "septic tank waste".
While all that is true, you are allowed spread your own septic tank on your own land and then leave that area idle for months
Small pockets of people with notions in that part of the world. You don't have to go far to find the other end of the scale, however.
A fine house, but the location doesn't work. Maybe if it was in a remote part of the countryside
surrounded by a forest or something.
Would anyone feel safe sleeping under the canopy in the master bedroom?
NNo, I haven't. I know people who do it.
Mod - Can we leave the septic tank discussion at that, take it to PM, if you want to discuss it further as it is derailing the thread. Thanks.

That's a serious safe room (pic 30). Worrying that you would have to live with that level of concern for safety.
I really love this…winning the lotto and buying it as my holiday home!
