One more sleep till tickets go on sale.
Yeah, please just follow whatever the recommended directions are.
just on the campers - i've friends staying in there, is it ok to enter and put tent beside their van. I assume the pass needed is to actually park a van there? or do you need a wristband to also go in there to your friends?
hello 👋🏼 this is my first year going. Just wondering if you can buy cans etc in the shops up there or is what you bring in it (excluding buying pints / cocktails)
Driving down last year, followed the directions from motorway & worked very well. Was driving from Donegal via Dublin. Don't even try to come up with your own bepsoke route!
Nope don't think you can buy cans like an off licence.
Yeah you'll be fine, lots of campervans put up tents/living areas/awnings.
No, definitely no alcohol on sale in the shop in the campsite.
We always made our own route for the green car park for EP alright, but not a hope in hell I'd try that for ATN 😂
Cool, thanks! Struggling to figure out if I have enough haha
Clashfinder not ready to print this close?
In terms of travelling down, can someone give me the best destination to aim for if driving from Dublin ? (As I know it's recommended not put in curraghmore house etc)
Ah yeah, doubt any more additional act announcements ahead of tomorrow afternoon.
From website.
So maybe Clonegam Road
Yeah, I've followed this. To be honest, it is signposted from many miles out. Just follow the directions, & will be grand.
How are people interpreting the weather for Sunday? So many different predictions.
Someone set up a custom spot on windguru which is really useful. Looks like light rain tomorrow most of the day and into early evening. Then dry for the rest of the weekend till about midnight Sunday / monday morning where it currently looks like it's going to rain very hard into Monday morning. Being Ireland that could all change
Freeflow issue sorted.
Weather looking improved with little rain aside from Friday afternoon and late Sunday night.
About 8 hours until Out of Office goes on.
I'm more than a little bit excited about this one folks. Staying with Pink Moon and hoping to arrive about 11.30 / 12.00 tomorrow.
For everyone going have an absolutely brilliant weekend and I'll see ye on the other side.
Sunny, with some cloud near Portlaw now. about 15deg Very little rain so far this week, grounds should be in good nick.
Do bus eireann buses going from Dublin go straight to festival....or to thr business park then you have to get shuttle bus?
You'll have to enter with them in the Van if at all possible. You can't just walk in with a tent and pitch it beside them. Yes, you'll need a wristband.
A lot of people trying to grab some last minute tickets on toutless
Just a regular festival wristband no? I don't think there's separate wristband for campervans or check between regular campsite and regular campervan area - wasn't in 2022 anyway
No you can enter the campervan area on a regular wristband, won't need to enter with them.
Forecast for Sunday is deteriorating unfortunately. Don't forget wet gear and wellies folks.
Oof Sunday beginning to look a bit grim in the forecasts now…
What forecasts are these? Have been checking regularly, met Éireann and YR both look OK at the minute.
Met Eireann has the rain starting from around 3pm on Sunday now. Although it's not particularly heavy
No you’ll have to get the shuttle bus
Ticket info
I can't log into tickemaster to get my tickets.
Someone on there end misspelled my email address when I was on the phone having issue with payment plan.
I've had to register a new email address and sent it to them. But they still don't have it sorted.
Am I snookered until I get this sorted out?
Suppose to be heading out in a couple of hours lol
I think worst of rain is late Sunday night, good chance we'll miss worst of showers Sunday afternoon
