CBL property approved

So last month I was offered as a nomination to Tuath housing for a 25 year lease through CBL.

I was Garda vetted and passed and financial situation assessed and a phone interview took place after I had accepted with Dublin city council.

I viewed the property on Friday it's beautiful fully furnished and brand new as a first let tenant.

I'm expecting the keys and lease this week as she said she would call me this week.

Just asked me simple questions who'd be staying in property ,did I work? Previous convictions (even though they done a Garda check) just filling you in on the rules of the Tuath. Fairly simple 15 mins long. If you get the call you already have the house.

That's good to know, thank you. I also received a letter of nomination for an apartment in Lucan, (St Edmunds) it was 5 weeks ago. Do you remember how many weeks you waited from receiving the letter from the SDCC to the phone call from Tuath?

They will call you soon as your Garda clearance is back I was chasing it up though. I got the call 4 weeks ago 3 days ago I'll be moved in Tuesday next week.

No the council done it mine was actually very quick. But I have a friend on here who has had a few weeks wait and she only heard on Friday she was passed .bring your council and ask for estate management to query the Garda clearance. Put pressure on them they will get it 7 weeks is very long.

I’m on the same boat, received the nomination form 7 weeks ago and still no call, the wait has been excruciating not knowing what happens next. I just hope we will get approved after waiting for so long, I’ve never had any problems with the Garda and I already sent them all documents, if there was any issues they would have let me know by now, right?

Do you have any idea what is the longest it could take and if they would let me know even if I wasn’t approved? I’m currently in emergency accommodation and it has been difficult living here for the past 8 months, praying it will all end soon
