One more sleep till tickets go on sale.
Hak Baker (looks to be reggae)
A bit of everything to be honest. Some of his stuff is very "the streets" and some others indie rock. Interesting guy
Very much personal preference really isn't it? I know a couple of people who wear shorts all year round, no matter what the weather, whereas i'll only tend to don them when temps hit the mid-20s.
Throw in jiggy and megatrad into that mix aswell. The Trad/folk isn't quite as strong as it was last year but still some great selections in there.
Yeah I have something similar, they're supposed to be a bit resistant to water aswell, though I haven't tested that but yet.
Are jiggy playing? I hadn't realised, saw them at battle for the lake in Achill last year and they were great craic
Exactly … i have always liked his stuff…
He's great live, great character, was a hoot at EP when I saw him. Fit him in if you can.
Tau and the Drones of Praise
& Bog Bodies will help scratch that itch
They are indeed, global roots Friday night at 11.30pm 🤠
Ah yeah big bodies definitely
Sweet, Willie Taylor is going to get blasted again so
Not advisable. You'll get wet and be freezing late at night.
So have to get a shuttle bus from Portlaw seemingly for the Bus Eireann buses.
Anyone know if you can access the boutique entrance from wherever the shuttle bus drops you off? Don't fancy having to cart everything through the main entrance and through the festival site - it's a bit of a trek.
Map on the App.
To say that I am very annoyed would be an understatement - as flagged on here already Pink Moon is not in Boutique. Seems like quite a trek to main stage, anyone want to confirm how long it might be?
for future reference
15 min (slow) walk ….
10-15 minutes max from pink moon to main stage
They left Arcadia in the same spot as last year?
Didnt listen to anyone on here then !!
😄
it looks like they’re planning on opening the walkway between Arcadia and lovely days. Last year it opened I think only once, then closed off when weather got bad. So should be faster and easier to get to this year 🤞
I think AVA is in a new spot, the one that was marked as a stage on the event licence map?
If I'm not mistaken, last year it was in the woods near where the Circle/Dingle gin ones are this year?
The hot tubs being up there is new too, last year they were in beside the Smirnoff bar in the ELG area.
Anyone know how long it takes to walk from campervan site to main arena?
Endainoz could you post link to ATN spotify list again was trying to find it in the thread.
Apologies in advance because I’m sure this stuff has been answered but I can’t seem to find it. Couple of questions on the travel situation, if anybody has experience.
1. It looks as if taxi drop-off is possible on Thursday, but I can’t see where the actual drop-off point will be. Did anybody do this last year? Is it possible to specify that we’re going to the boutique camping area and get dropped there?
2. To avoid having to go to that Business park on Monday morning to meet my taxi, I was thinking of getting the Bus Eireann back to Waterford. Does anybody know where the Bus Eireann services leave from. Or indeed where the Business park shuttles leave from?
Thanks in advance, first time at ATN so feeling a bit clueless.
Seem to have ignored comments about location of Ping Pong also.
Was that up by the Guinness bar up past the stage ?
It would help alright ……
………….
I’m looking for an answer on 1. also and whether we can walk to the boutique entrance from wherever the drop off point is.
Re.2, it seems that you’ll have to get the shuttle bus regardless. All buses are being dropped off in the business park with shuttles from there
Id say less than that.
drop off was prohibited last year on the Friday and Monday. Don’t think it was allowed on Thursday either. You have to be dropped off in portlaw and get shuttle bus on-site. think drop offs last year on Saturday/Sunday were through gate 3 for campers/buses. gate 3 is the complete opposite side from boutique camping so it’s a walk.
