Good to see the Donald rested and healed, even bullets can’t stop this guy, day by day he’s becoming more and more of a super hero, the election is pretty much a formality at this stage.

From the get go of this thread when this incident occured this type of opinion was gaining traction.
Whats wrong with people that guffaw at people they disagree with and call them conspiracy theorists at every opportunity then start peddling their own conspiracies when it suits them?
I don't like Trump but some of you here are obsessed with hating him. No doubt I'll be piled on for posting this.
I think it's pretty clear the poster was referring to the extent of damage to Trump's ear as being a scam, not the whole thing being a scam. Trump undoubtedly got his ear clipped with what was most likely a bullet, and an inch or two more to the side could have been a horrific injury or worse. But it was a very minor flesh wound which has healed very quickly. That's all people are saying; that the idea that "Trump is a hero who took a bullet for the country" or similar such nonsense is a scam which very much over-dramatises the actual injury to Trump, and also makes it sound like he heroically dove in front of the bullet to protect someone else, unlike the man who was killed who died shielding his family when they heard the gunshots. Also ignores how he pushed his way out of cover when huddled around by Secret Service agents so he could throw his fist up for a photo op and made them hang on until they got his shoes, therefore putting the agents and everyone else at risk if the shooter was still active and could have tried firing at him again.
I mean, just look at the post above yours… That's the scam in full force.

Something the bullet hit - the podium? Or the bullet hit the podium and broke up, and a piece of it as shrapnel hit him. Or he wasn't directly hit, it was the shockwave of the bullet as it passed very close to his head.
I don't trust anything that came out from Trump's 'former physician' about it.
It shouldn't really matter, a guy took a shot at Trump, and came very close to killing him. It's the circus Trump has created around it with the ridiculous bandage and evasions that are the scam. He doesn't even need to do any of that.
There was talk of it possibly being a piece of shrapnel (ie. the bullet hit something else and a fragment of it hit Trump's ear). I think the main argument is that given the gun, distance and bullet calibre, a full bullet hitting Trump's ear would likely have caused much greater damage than it did. So it's most likely that if it was the bullet itself that hit Trump, the very edge of the side of the bullet probably tipped the outside of his ear.

I'm not sure exactly what to make from Trump's former physician in his statement:
He added that “there was no concussive effect from the bullet” because it was far enough from Trump’s head.
not much of a shockwave traveling with a flying bullet to speak of, they’re designed to have minimal drag in flight and deliver killing force through their high velocity relative to small mass equaling a large momentum in a small package. You’d get more concussions at a fireworks show. If a gun went off near your ear you might lose your hearing, most of that percussive force is lost near the muzzle though.
Some kid at the rally had his neck grazed by a bullet. He was fine.
Not sure where this idea came from that a bullet has a surrounding force around it.
I mean, he does use a lot of make up already, and being a draft dodger, he was never in danger of getting any scars at all.
No issues with him dodging the draft. Thats smart.

It's incredibly hypocritical to dodge the draft and then send young people to their deaths by being commander in chief.
