well there was the case of Irish woman Violet Gibson attempting to assassinate Benito Mussolini. She managed to graze his nose with the bullet but no more serious damage.

And given the photos and other evidence found on Crooks phone it is likely had a high profile Democrat been holding the rally Crooks would have tried to kill them.
Not a single one of those tweets confirms it is his account. An emergency disclosure request isn't proof of it being his account and I wouldn't exactly be trusting of something the owner of gab is simply claiming while providing a "donate here" link in the said tweets. Given some of the crap posted in the thread, this doesn't feel likely to your smoking gun. 😂
I reckon Crooks was obsessed with the idea of killing a president/former president, any president he could more easily get access to. The idea of gaining such notoriety, be it in life or posthumously would have motivated him. Sometimes it’s as simple as that.

Carrying around the blood pack would have been a constant hazard, and the timing of putting it to a fake wound would have been problematic, if a car backfired or a firework went off he’d be looking pretty stupid 🤣 Then there’s the little matter of somebody else dying and others injured as collateral for a set-up.

Ears do not tend to heal fast, had a small chunk taken out of the top mine many years ago in an accident, took weeks to heal and guess what....the part never grew back (shocked face) yet we're supposed to believe that Trump not only healed from a gunshot wound in a few days but bears no physical scarring of said wound?

The caliber of the bullet and what it's being fired out of matters though. Firing an 8mm slug from a pistol is a different story to firing a 5.56 NATO round from a rifled long gun.

You're right, I meant from the bleeding and recovery perspective, clotting is quick and once that happens it's really just a sore/sensitive ear while healing, but chunks taken out of it tend to stay taken out (bar a surgical rebuild) :)
If Trump had died or was incapacitated in the assassination, I wonder who would be the Republican candidate.

You would have to hope that if Trump loses 2024, the GOP will have to accept that the Trump/MAGA/CultOfPersonalityExtremism is simply not going to win them elections, and they need to quell the likes of MTG/Boebert/Vance/Gaetz.
