Plenty of examples of men being faures, there seems to a culture of incompetence within in the secret service that nobody wants to fix

Yeah I like many people thought the race was over for sure after it happened with the bump Trump would get. But the way the democrats responded with dignity, the way the republicans made a bit of a mockery of themselves trying to milk it for all it was worth, the way Trump started a speech about "unity" but went off script almost immediately, and of course the way it turned out that the shooter was a republican and was basically just another senseless mass shooter in a country that allows wide access to guns and little access to mental health care mostly thanks to republican policies have all hurt Trump's ability to really gain the advantage most people anticipated. And now with Harris stepping in it has really moved the news cycle on.

we still don't know the name of the secret service in charge of the event on the day.
Many middle Americans and swing voters don't care about any of this, they just saw Trump with his fist in the air after an assassination attempt and he's their man now. It was and still is a huge bump for him.
The election was a foregone conclusion. Thankfully Biden's team and the Dems saw this and pulled him out so now there's some glimmer of hope (Trump is still ahead)
So, the secret service, highly politicized on the side of the democrats, would like The Donald to ease of on the campaign?

Indoor events are easier to secure that outdoor events. It would be remiss of the secret service not to mention this.
I would imagine similar advice has been given to the Harris campaign.

Condoleezza Rice was the secretary of state when 9/11 happened, so in a way she had the power to deal with the Saudi nationals who carried out those attacks, her department along with every other department ignored what they were being told about the potential for attacks of that nature (plans to fly planes into buildings were understood to be in the works since 1994) and the worst happened.
Gender, or sex if you like, seem to be irrelevant, things happen that shouldn't but the one constant is the fact that nobody at the highest level is ever held accountable regardless of the scale of the fvck up.

I'm blaming her because she is a DEI hire. She promotes DEI policies. Policies that prioritize gender, skin colour and sexuality over ability. What happened on the 13th was a SHAMBLES from start to finish, DEI does a disservice to competent women everywhere, if you impose white man quotas in industries lacking white men then you'll do damage to that industry too.
When you see a shambolic performance from a Security Agency like we all saw, you can be sure that kind of incompetence is all over that organization, like a cancer. I don't believe that what happened isn't sinister beyond that, I think what we are seeing is incompetence and a cover up of incompetence, nothing more, but I can't blame anyone for thinking that there is a nefarious element to all this.
On the 13th, the US just about managed to avoid escalating a very volatile political situation, this week The Director stepped down, after disgracing herself and the USSS in front of the US people.
