One more sleep till tickets go on sale.
Hadn't spotted her EP slot. An Irish DJ?
That would make my day
Personally I think the scratch are one of the best irish live acts going imo and Mary Wallopers are decent craic live. Each to their own
They’re teasing some festival announcement on their IG so would agree that it’s them. Not a fan myself and a pretty underwhelming special announcement considering they only played last year.
Its not going to be anyone big anyway, keep the expectations low folks
Dave McSavage ………………….
The Noodle Food Truck?
Yep it's Le Boom for Saturday in SKOW. TBA slot on the bandstand after Nialler9 on the Sunday is DJ Deece.
I was going to suggest Lisa Hannigan, thinking she might join the national for a few songs too
Could potentially join them for Rylan but most of I Am Easy To Find has fallen out of their setlist rotation..
she used to do fake empire with them I think also
She joined them last time they were in Curraghmore. Would be a bit much repeating the trick, no?
Has there been any info on drop-off points & shuttle buses like the setup they had last year?
Or are you able to get closer to the site on Thursday evening than you would be for the rest of the weekend, does anyone know?
Housey?! What house are you listening too 🤣 very loopy, dark vibe, 3 deck mixing, huge kickdrum, more rhythm than melody… doesn't get much more techno than that! It'll sound amazing on a soundsystem. Saw Dylan Fogarty at the same stage he's playing on last year, similar sort of style kinda new school hardgroove techno, and it was one of the highlights of the weekend for me
Giving this a listen on my big boy speakers when I get home. Loved your recommendations for last year
Drop off instructions are announced a day or two before, but usually only with instructions for Friday - Sun. There was no shuttle bus set up on the Thursday last year or the year before, but we were able to get dropped off at the standard car park.
Nice one, thanks
Latest update from Carlow Weather, not a lot of rainfall next week, but no high pressure either, I'll take dry & mild to be honest.
Do!! He's a good producer as well, maybe a little bit too fast sometimes but that's what's trendy these days.. And cheers glad to hear someone found them useful anyway!!
If you're interested, some DJs I'm hoping to catch this year are: Ben UFO (no words needed); Mano Le Tough's 3 hour set (throw back to the glorious Body & Soul Maeve Sunday Reckless in Love takeover, one of my all time favourite festival memories), Lucas Ogma (founder of Fuinneamh festival and purveyor of deep trippy spaced out techno), OK Williams (guaranteed to pop off with her class selections), Becky (up and coming talented Dubliner, reckon she'll smash her set at Arcadia, effortlessly mixing UK Bass and other bits), Reclaim the Mainframe (Dublin collective who's recently been responsible what some describe as the best parties in the city), Mathman (outrageous basslines), Cormac (if you're looking to get camp and euphoric), Sloucho (arguably the country's most exciting electronic music producer, very 'forward thinking').
Or:la is an excellent DJ too, she was brilliant closing the festival a few years ago on Arcadia (old spot).
2019 on the afterburner, she was really good, vaguely remember her dropping Timo Mass "Dooms Night" randomly, and the place erupting
Yeah, Moonchild's V.O.A.T. too, love it.
Edit: rude not to post the song, whopper.
I remember that. Amazing. Does she still play 90s stuff like that during her sets?
Yeah Or:la is on my list as well. Seen her a few times and it's always been a great time. Think she plays a pretty wide variety of stuff, definitely some old school ravey sounds thrown in there
I haven't seen her since that night. Fingers crossed she does, I'll defo be at her at ATN this year.
CMAT is in the UK the Friday and Saturday. Unless the Saturday is an early day performance or that she comes back the Sunday. But I don’t know would she fit the main stage vibe of Sunday? It doesn’t say that EP is her only Irish festival like it did last year though so let’s see.. would love CMAT.
Och, aye, of course. Absolutely. There's undoubtedly a lot of sh*te that I like, too! 😊
Anyone know when the Born Social timetable is out, the last couple of years it's been a go to spot late afternoon / early evening on the Saturday and Sunday to get a disco/house fix with Kelly Ann Byrne and Claire Beck, decent cocktails too
Ah deadly. That was an absolute highlight from ATN that year 🔊🔥 thanks for the reminder
Or:la festival set from 2023, massive
