Following on from main thread in Current Affairs about Tubs in general (now closed and mod suggestion that Entertainment category is more suitable).
Indeed, entertainment in certain respects is what Tubs has provided, albeit perhaps in a way not intended. And still awaiting 150k payback to the licence fee holder.
And of course, his new career in Virgin Radio which is imminent.

I would watch the **** out of Ryan interacting with some "Road men" in Hackney, Dalston or Shoreditch.
Now that's a YouTube series....
"Wagwan fams.... ! Don't adjust your device, it is I, Ryan Tubridy, speaking to you from Hackney where I am meeting "Zish" to learn how to speak "Roadman"......... A curious dialect that is incomprehensible to the uninitiated. I should be OK though, I did once visit Tallaght on the Luas! Ho ho ho ho!"
I love it.
Someone give that poster a production deal.
I never purposed listened to his show, but did have to endure it a few times in dentist waitrooms etc.I did watch him on the Late Late a few times, thankfully that is avoidable now with him on some UK Internet backwater.
I did in the past hear him sh1te on about aspiring the learn Irish. This bugged me a bit because like a lot of things in life Tubs wanted the end result without the work. The fact he cant even get the name right doesn't surprise me.
He's a charmless simpleton, it's great to see it exposed so much these days.
Exactly.
He got so used to mentioning an item, be it a food, a book, etc and having it sent to him FOC that he probably assumes if he says he wants to learn Irish then it'll just happen rather than him having to actually take the time to go to classes or immerse himself in a community to learn it. Remember Ed Bishop was practically fluent in Irish after about 6 or 7 months living among Irish speakers? But no, Tubs would never do that, too much effort needed.
Didn't he also claim he wanted to learn the guitar after being gifted one? I'm sure he's done nothing about that too.
Depends on whether or not our reality is a simulation, or if Rose and Maura are the only entities that exist only on software.
It looks like for the first time this morning that Q102,LMFM, Cork's 96FM and Live 95 have not promoted his show on their social media. This is a first as they always used to pre promote.
He is hoping that the podcast will pull in more listeners/viewers.
Will he discuss the Cork v Clare match on his show tomorrow? After all, that really is senior hurling.
The final was shown on BBC2... might actually have some English people curious wabout it.
Social media full of "the English can't believe how amazing this game is. It's a mix of UFC, rugby, WWE they're saying".
If it was on Sky every week, the English wouldn't watch it.
No doubt Biden stepping away from the US presidential race will be mentioned on his show, as Tubridy is also desperately trying to remain relevant himself.
" ah, now we have something in common".… yeah, they're both shite at their jobs.
But as far as we know, Biden doesn't owe the taxpayer 150k.
"If that work is not called upon to be done, of course the money goes back."
This is something that he should come up everytime the Tubster is mentioned.
best mates indeed….

Wait, did Laura Whitmore chose a Taylor Swift tour souvenir book? Is that really one of her choices. Up there with Cecelia Ahern picking her own book and Tubs picking The Great Bumper Book of World History or whatever it was called.
Misread that as "knock one out" and that amused me greatly, imagine hate watching Tubs whilst having "one off the wrist"😀
Who? You mean Bread O'Keefee and Geraldine O'Leary?
And both prone to incomprehensible gibberish...
That's not being fair to President Biden.
Proof if ever that Tubs hate reads this thread (ta for the phrase Bobson).
In Sunday's Diary he's fixed the spelling:
"One night on Inishbofin was too short but any time spent there is worth it....."
..
gotta do something when the music is playing. It’s not thinking about the next link anyway
Could have been his kids, or Noel, or yourself or Emmet etc….that tipped him off I suppose :) But I'm banking on his uber narcissism bringing the main man himself here on a regular basis as he whips himself into a frenzy (metaphorically or not).
More a case of little else to do.
you should start a separate thread about this
Honestly can't see the capstone of Irish broadcasting deign to engage with the two way interactive nature of the internet.
Keeping his comments switched off ensures his true fans aren't challenged by non believers.
Bryan will return to Ireland just as Eamon Casey did after a stint in England.
Oh come on, both had to go England due to fallout from financial irregularities in their posts.
Are you calling Bryan a sexual predator?
You really need to move out of your mum's place.
^^^ I didn't get the memo ??
methinks the obsessive lad protests too much…
