Just bring multiple cards with you. Have them stored on your phone wallet also.
Apps like Revolut you can create virtual cards and also add them to your wallet.

the bars etc don’t have cash on hand. No floats etc. so there isn’t any leeway. Between you and friends the chances that all of your bank cards are faulty is slim
last year on one of the mornings the food vendors couldn’t connect their machines to the wifi, so only people with cash could get served! So I’d bring €50 in small notes just in case that happens again.
