The referee gave maybe 2 bad decisions, overall he was fine but, as usual, we will blame the referee. Hoggie is a great free taker but contributes very little from play anymore. To be fair Harnedy was excellent today, but we need to move on wth the younger players and build on what we achieved this year. The foundation is there to build a future on.

The missed 65 was a disgrace too. I was miles away from it in the stadium and I clearly saw that it was a 65. Clare scored a point then straight off their puckout. That's a 2 point turnaround on that decision.

The ref was **** terrible
There were multiple 2 point swings, Horgan pushed in the back, and a free not given, Clare scored from the play.
Blatant free in for Cork at the end not given and Clare went up the other end and scored.
There was a blatant foul in the build up to the third Clare goal too.
Thats a 7 point difference not even going into the pull right at the end and the black card/second yellow.
Look it's alright to be blaming the ref but Clare have had our number this year. They scored 3-26 against us last April and scored 3-29 today. So Pat Ryan and the players obviously learnt nothing from the first game. I'm gutted for them, not myself, they owe us nothing and we should thank them. But it's not reasonable to expect to win when you make the same mistakes twice.

In fairness it's hard to beat both the Limerick referee and Clare all at once.
I think the Cork hurlers will find it very hard to win an All Ireland going forward. They will be a new choker mentality creeping in now. 1-08 to 0-03 points ahead up to 20 mins and we lost this game still. Like Straighttalker says we aren't that cute anymore made loads of silly errors today. They are damaged psychologically and this defeat will hurt more so than 2006, 2013 and 2021. They need to clear out the old stock now and that includes Horgan.
We are way too easy to score against. As long as that continues and as long as we can't win the ball up front in the forwards we're going to continue to fall short. We play with good spirit under Pat Ryan but tactically i think he's poor enough at times as well.

Ref or no ref (I thought he was fair enough) cork couldn't put away a tired clare team with 16 plus wides, no team should win an all Ireland with that many wides but still couldn't match them, the ref gave maybe 2 or 3 suspect decisions and I suspect he either didn't see the tug on the jersey or let the game play as he still got a shot off and missed, let's not forget he missed it in front of the goals as well.They had ample opportunity to pull away and just didn't have the killer punch. All clare had to do was stay plugging away when cork couldn't match them
the ref 100% played his part! We got no 50-50 call and when Clare should’ve had a black card he failed to give it. No more politically correct bullshit. Call a spade a spade. We got done today
We still handed Clare goals on a plate though! There is issues with this team that still need to be rectified.

It was a close enough contest. The Cork defence was the losing of the game. I said we'd need to keep Clare goalless to win.
Cork were playing uphill with that ref…they were sloppy mid-2nd half, dropping and losing balls in the half forward line. that's where they lost it in the end. 2 or 3 proper decisions from the ref and you've got a very different result.
It does matter! Whatever about the reff we won't win an all Ireland until we have a tight and strong defence. That's something we haven't had since 2005 as well!

I agree with you but we handed Clare three goals on a plate as well, and our half forward line was cleaned out of it. The subs made no impact either! We still haven't got the mentality to be winners imo. We're still a little bit soft mentally sadly.
Didn't see it coming...I was probably over confident by the looks of things...ref definitely cost us a draw but if I'm being honest Clare slightly better
Clare cleaned up on winning the breaking ball as well i thought. Sadly i still think we're a couple of players short here, and that we aren't cute or smart enough tactically as well.
