That's a lot of house for that price, very bungalow bliss from the front.
No shortage of bathrooms, large rooms, 2 great dressing rooms - it's all very beige and bland but could be easily sorted with paint. Why do they keep the cellophane on their lampshades, does that not get hot when they're on?
2 cottages for €285k in Galway, the interior of the main one really jars with the exterior.
E2 and pimples! No, the interiors are nice, if chilly, but that acne exterior I could not cope with.

It really could be configured better. It wouldn't even be a lot of work, to swap the space beside the fridge for the dishwasher or washing maching and put a corner press (that slides out) in the corner.
Also would have another bath in the bathroom rather than a dressing table.
Overall, I prefer the appearance of the other property, though not a fan of exposed stone interior walls.
What's the story with the hob in pic 16 and the sink in pic 20? Really weird camera work.

I wouldn't like to have to squeeze behind the table to get something hot (in particular a container of hot liquid) out of that microwave. I know a lot of people put them up high, but this seems a bit high to me?
Oven access awkward with the table too. Even if they just moved the table, it would be better! That has to be staged for the photos. But it doesn't work.

Little expensive but it's nearly 4,000 sq ft with big areas to front and back, with sea view and in Dublin and is in walk in condition. €700k barely get you a 4 bed these days in Dublin.

If you go into the Street View the house is under construction and it looks like the identical house next door is on the same plot. I'd imagine, and this is total conjecture on my part, that there was another house on that plot originally, someone bought it, knocked it and built these two side by side with the intent of selling one and living in the other. Or maybe selling both, who knows?

It's not really a sea view, you're not on the coast road, there's houses across the road, so the view is upstairs from the terrace (still lovely but only when you're in a certain position)
It's just around the corner from the Marine hotel that's up for sale(kept as hotel or turned into apartments?)
Another block of apartments has gone in 1 minute walk away and Santa Sabina school is there too, a very busy road. It took 3 traffic light turns to get into from there to Sutton cross junction at 9:35 during summer holidays for 2.5 m I'd want an easier life!
Especially if the plan to terminate the Howth dart and Howth Junction and use a shuttle service goes ahead, traffic will be an absolute nightmare.....so that will literally be on your doorstep!

Both new houses are for sale, well next door is sale agreed. The one that's sale agreed looks really stark from the outside, but the one for sale has no blinds so you can see the floor and double bed in the upstairs front room from the car,on the bus you'd get a deadly nose 😂 so depending how much you like privacy in your bedroom, you'd need blinds, closed!

With both houses carbon copies of each other (on a row of old houses) both up sale, I suspect work has just finished on them and it's their first time to market.
I've gone down a rabbit hole of expensive houses in Sutton now, these two are rather old and grand looking (not into the green bathrooms in the first one 😂)

That Sealawn one looks as though they got bored building after the ground floor. I know its a style, but not one that I admire.
