Has there been another driver who’s been dumped in the summer break and picked up by an unrelated team? Would actually like to see that, partially just to see Albon up against someone better than Latifi/Sargeant (plus another ex-teammate of Max).
Sainz is best driver for red bull for next year, but seemingly the 2 dads made it toxic when they were both at toro rosso, plus what do you do for rest of 2024?
You put Riccardo in the Red Bull for the rest of the year, Lawson in the ATM and take it from there. I think even a mediocre Daniel would be better than Checo.
I agree, no risk at this stage! But I’d also be in serious chats with Sainz too for next year! No doubt RB (yes…. Red bull😜) have been mulling over their options
If you're Ricciardo you're surely only going into the red bull seat with a performance based contract that will guarantee him a seat in 25 (assuming he meets his targets). If that's the case and he does well what then for Sainz?
It's all a bit of a mess for him which is a shame.
I think Sainz will end up at Alpine
I can't see Ricciardo being in a position to push a hard negotiation, the only thing he really offers for the Red Bull at the moment is a safe pair of hands until the end of the season.
Apparently the astroturf is lower than the concrete, Tsunoda bottomed out on it and it launched him into the air. Surely that has to be changed?
Not at all, the barriers and the car did their job, Yuki abused track limits and paid the price.
Gasly will be starting from pitlane, he's taken a new ECU so is over his limit. He qualified 20th so no big change...
They added gravel to where Yuki went off, but I agree with the above poster, he was well outside the track limits. If they was a walk there he wouldn't have pushed his luck, probably would have done less damage if he'd hit a wall
He did get launched though, that's a problem.
I think they share a wardrobe.
SKy banging the AD2021 drum again
Now Sky giving out about Max sim racing till early hrs in the morning saying its disrecpectful. Like WTF really and Rosberg fueling it.
DAvidson piece was excellent on mclaren starts
Rosberg is awful, no idea why sky use him.
Afternoon all, here's hoping for a papaya win and a red and white win then in Dublin later.
LAndo reported throttle issues
Afternoon folks. Fingers crossed for a good race today i.e. a Max win. 😁 First corner going to be tasty.
I can see Checo ending up having a crash today, he'll be pushing like mad to try and get up from where he is.
Not the kind of work you want to be getting done to your car so close to race start
Yeah, Brundle said Lewis was reporting throttle issues too. Hopefully that should mix things up a bit and this doesn't turn into a procession in the sun
Confirmed that was a mix up on his part.
Alex Albon is extremely likeable character, just an observation...
Martin brundle describing it as painting your hallway through the letterbox summed how much of a dose it is to do.
Hungarian anthem kind of ends oddly.
Felt it needs another verse
I'm curios does Lando get any medimedia
Good Afternoon all.
I'd love nothing more than seeing sky lose the rights to F1, they are a complete embarrassment
Going to be a long wait at the front at this rate
