I received an unwanted WhatsApp scam group msg today, actually 36 in all, from "Ireland Binterest". I can't delete this any which way I've tried. I've Googled and its a group scam others have received. Any tips to delete?
Try from airplane mode after you've gone onto the right area of WA.

Will it not give the option to delete conversation by long pressing on the chat before you open it?
I got added to a group and didn't want the messages. I think maybe 4 / 5 months ago this was added to the "chats" settings:
I now just archive anything I dont want to see again. Job done.

Nope! That's the problem. It won't highlight for me. Bin doesn't appear on top. No 'delete' in options either. The thing is just glued on my phone.
If you long press before opening the chat and press the 3 dots on the top right does it give an option to exit the group?
Could it be part of a community?

That sounds like a community. You can exit or archive if you dont want to exit. Tap it to enter the community then long press the announcements section to get an archive option:
If you have the "keep chats archived" setting enabled it will never appear in your main chat list again and you get no notifications either.
Ok its archived now and off my messages list. But where do I find "keep chats archived"?

I have a question for here. Im getting plagued with spam offering me mobile apps and website design. It's from different email addresses so blocking them 1 at a time isnt much use. Is my email address being displayed somewhere? On a whois lookup maybe? If so I have no idea what domain. Is there a search I can do for this using my email address so I can at least try to get it removed?

Says my email address has been leaked a few times. E.g. Adobe, twitter. Recommends changing passwords for those accounts which is interesting but not sure how it relates to the spam emails Im getting...
Your email address has likely been sold or accessed by spammers in mass lists from these breaches.
iirc you can make a filter for incoming emails from any address that contains certain text in subject or message and send it straight to Junk …. doesnt solve your problem but sweeps it under carpet …. :)
Yeah I suspect that might be the best I can do at this stage. Had a scan through about 10 of them. "Mobile App Price List" is in nearly all of them so will make a rule for that.
I created a filter in gmail and called it 'unwanted'. I assign a certail email address to it and also any that have word 'unsubscribe' so that covers many newsletters etc. It saves the inbox from clutter and also no ping notification from the 'unwanted' ones. The bin is emptied every 30 days but the 'unwanted' ones wait for you to delete later if you wish.

Highlight the text and copy it.
Go to the comment box. Type the ">" character without the quotes and paste the text. Press enter twice, and then type your comment.
You can't quote directly, but you can link to the post directly.
Right-click the post count and copy link.
Someone may correct me on this but I think generally you are not supposed to cross-post/quote from one forum to another.
Its not generally the done thing.
Just copy the link within the timestamp of the post and paste that.

I'm trying to figure out a way to do this, but can't quiet work out if it's even possible. So I'm looking to upload a pdf file somewhere and then have accessible via a QR code for anyone that scans the QR code. Is there a few way to do this without paying for hosting? The PDF would have fillable sections, so the idea is that someone would scan the QR code, fill out the PDF then save it.
