Nice, nice. How about some political views rather than selecting a festival in NO representing black culture. Context is everything, except when it comes to RNC research.
#both sides. You are demanding perfection to be allowed challenge the worst in society. No I can't complain about an obvious racist unless I have complained about every minority based issue in the world ever?
All bar trans are finding Trump more favourably than what? Trump 4 years ago? Because I am betting that Trump is not getting more of the African American vote than Biden. But hey he is beating out than the Republican racist from 4 years ago which was...
Makes it easier if you think no one else cares right? Dems aren't perfect so Republicans can do and say what they like and no one should be allowed complain. Your examples are hilarious and not close to the scale of Republicans pushing case after phony case into the courts or fake electors.
Come on then. On his own merits is the guy worried about immigrants poisoning the blood not racist. The guy calling for 2a supporters to do their thing on a political rivals not violent? Who do we think Alex Jones supports? I saw there were some Nazis in Tennessee recently, who do we think they support? Take a wild guess based on nothing else other than their love of the Nazi flag.
Whether you like it or not, she is going to step into those shoes very very shortly.
Dems aren't perfect so Republicans can do and say what they like and no one should be allowed complain.
This really is all they have to counter with.
Who said Dems have to be perfect? I certainly didn't. I posted an abundance of evidence as to why they are not Better. You choose to ignore or make excuse for it.. And again if the Dems and your good self are really worried about these things then you would question why the Dems fund people who hold these views on the Republican side and therefore risking a majority of wingnuts in Congress. I won't wait.
It really isn't. That much is self evident by what I posted alone.
Nah! Your going to see how much the Democrats have painted themselves into a corner. They know she is useless. Their collective brains are doing overtime trying to think of a way to drop her and to get someone like Michell Obama or Gavin Newsom. I don't think they will succeed. But if they do and and it is Gavin Newsom your going to really see the Democrats eat themselves alive.
Michelle Obama has repeatedly said she has no interest in ever running. I have absolutely no idea why her name keeps being brought up.
According to NBC News, Michelle's office has again confirmed that she will not run for president in 2024. “As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president.”Calling politics “hard”, she said: “It's got to be in your soul, because it is so important. It is not in my soul.”

I agree with you. But to answer your question it is pro-democrat commentators who keep bringing her up. For my sins I watch Bill Maher every weekend. I don't particularly like him and think he is an 80s yuppie throwback. But he at least acknowledges that there is an abundance of wingnuts in the party he supports. Unlike the "nothing to see here" people posting here he understands the problem at least to some degree. Maher has recognized that Biden was not up to it and predicted 9 months ago that the democrats would be in this situation. I haven't once heard Harris being seriously put forward as a replacement candidate except by Sunny Hostin (Wingnut alert!) and a few others.
Pretty sure most people tend to view Maher as a wingnut in his own right. In relation to citing Gaza protests as examples of anti semitism, opposing Israel's pretty brutal war on Palestinians is not anti semitic. That doesn't translate to condoning Hamas's attacks,. It's an opposition to killing huge amounts of innocent people.
Bill Maher is Libertarian who likely mostly votes Democrat but also complains about them non-stop. Either way, he's a comedian first and foremost.
Shockingly I can hold views on multiple issues at the same time. You were complaining about Trump being compared to Hitler. What does the Dems issue have to do with that comparison? Should we discuss the issues with Renew or EPP while we are at it?
If you want a discussion about the Dems issues elsewhere then we can have that. I check on the Biden thread regularly but I have not seen those points brought up. For here, in a Trump discussion you seem to feel the best way of defending him is to not talk about him which given his record is likely true.
About the thing:
This thread is about the assassination attempt. It is not about Kamala Harris. If you wish to discuss the election use the relevant thread
Will the Donald Trump thread and the Donald Trump assassination attempt thread be merged when the post rate becomes more manageable? We also have the Biden presidency thread and the Biden vs. Trump thread. It's a lot.

Can someone explain how one bullet grazed Trump, while another bullet killed that firefighter in the crowd who was no where in the line of sight. And why was he surrounded by cops and soldiers, and dragged off like a dog, plus it was a perfect kill shot to the head. Was this the secret service who took him out by mistake, as soon as he fell, shooter down shooter down was yelled.
Was it confirmed if it was a bullet that hit trump or a fragment from the perspect glass panel somewhere in front of him?
the guy was at the corner of the stand nearest to the shooter between him and trump, the wounded men were on the opposite stand.
they found the ladder I repeat they found the ladder https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/biden-trump-rnc-07-19-24#h_24c4d77206cb0387c83448bd0136bf5f
There was no glass panel in front of him, how does this myth keep being repeated?
Pretty sure the dead man was in the stand to Trump's left. Both Trump's head and the dead man's head were in a straight line to the shooter.
The telepromter.
Yes, dead man between shooter and Trump, injured in line of fire beyond Trump .
For a comedian he isn't actually funny, as in not at all.
Seems to be a common occurrence these days. Quite a few of them are a lot closer to low level political commentators.
Less laughter and more applause. I remember Norm MacDonald describing the Trump era as good for awful comedians, less promising for good ones.
Information beginning to emerge that he possibly wasn't politically motivated in one way or another

Maybe this is badly done, but no one seems to be in the line of sight but trump
Is he still considered a comedian? I'd have said he's a social commentator rather than a comedian. I think all his work now is commentating on social events from an opinionated analytical perspective rather than a comedic one.
Bill Burr called him out for what he is when he was on the podcast a couple months back. I see Maher has a contrarian more than anything else. I think he wants to be viewed as somewhat 'nouveau anti-establishment' but definitely not an activist. 'Opinionated, not activated' could be his by-line.
Whether Left or Right, I don't know there's much love for him anywhere, more that he's used by each side when his view targets the other side.
