not as cringey as O'Shea in his red speedos , at least Walsh showed up in an All Ireland final
Ahh another one. Who can dish it out but can't take it. You have to resorting to childish remarks.
could we settle for Galway 24 and Mayo 25…….would be a nice one..
They still didn't win though.
That was hardly Walsh's fault.
A perfect compromise!!. If Galway win and from a Mayo point of view, it applies pressure to the managment and players. It might lead to some changes in the managment team at least and force the hand to try to upgrade what we currently have.
can't take what?
Yeah, I hope they get thumped.
A bit of criticism and some facts about Galway but you come into the mayo thread dishing it out.
Let's drop the Galway Mayo unpleasantness. 2 counties that generally get along very well.
im not from Galway ya spanner
exactly …. Most of the posters putting up annoying posts wouldn’t be in pearse stadium or castlebar once a year.
That's big for Castlebar with the way they have played in the league
Yeah, Castlebar were the best odds I thought. I think Barry isn't a great manager though so they could underachieve
However good or bad Barry is, it looks like he has them playing an attacking brand of football. That can only be good for Mayo football and developing badly needed forwards.

Haven't seen them play this year tbh, I was basing that comment on last year where he had them played awful football considering the players they have. Good to hear they're playing a bit more expansive this year
You may well be right about his coaching skills. I haven't seen them this year either. Positive football more appealing anyway.
Can see Galway winning by 3 or 4 on Sunday, and we will have to take our failings & their ruthlessness on the big stage on the chin.
Anyone know the dates for the knock out stages of the club championships? I see the group stage fixtures are on the website alright but i cnat find the knock out dates.
Galway for me too. They look better in every line of the field.
I think Armagh will do it - nothing more than a feeling. I do agree that on paper Galway are the stronger team, I just think Armagh will get over the line in a chaotic game
that ad for the Dog chews will be quoted greatly by the bullshitters now.
Well that reminded me a lot of the 21 final from a Galway perspective, very poor showing from them
If Galway had a scoring forward, they would have won that game!
I'm glad they didn't. They were rubbish.
Thoughts on todays performance ?
in the interest of fairness I assume the fact he “stepped outside the group” to run a social media competition in the lead up to the final has to be considered a factor ?
Shows a lack of focus ?
That’s the only illogical conclusion that can be drawn given that Aidan O Sheas photo shoot months before affected him in a final. Which leads us to Damien Comers displays in finals ……
Congrats to Armagh,worthy winners.
No more than ourselves in 2021, Galway possibly over exhausted themselves both physically & emotionally after their unexpected semi-final win over Dublin, but collapsed under the weight of expectation as favourites against Armagh.
With the season now over i'm expecting a flurry of resignations from managers across the country, especially from some of the bigger counties.
I think tactically, Joyce just got it completely wrong. Too conservative and risk-averse. In the first half, they were playing like they were protecting a lead and winding down the clock in the dying moments of extra time instead of taking it by the neck.
