There is a theory that he was so against Trump he registered registered republican to vote Trump out before he even gets to the ballot. This isn't a conspiracy, it's something media has caught on to years ago and die hard democrats show off doing:

The lack of social media presence doesnt suggest a liberal activist... what other types are keen on not having an online profile, tend to be more in CT territory.
Interesting question about the FBI.
….
I could, but why on Earth would I want to? Texas is an Open Primary state, I can vote for any party's candidate at any time.
A particularly paranoid individual could easily choose anonymity so he might just post anonymously on sites etc including Twitter etc. Given the fact he attempted an assassination, he's far from a standard 20 year old.
The FBI I'm guessing have pretty good reasons to assume he was working alone, they absolutely do not want to **** up such an investigation.
All of the evidence so far strongly points to Crooks leaning to the right of the political aisle. As more comes out, the picture will get clearer.
Not that evidence has ever been enough to change the minds of idiots who think Trump is "their" guy, mind you. We're talking about clowns here, that literally believe Joe Biden and the Democrats stole the last election just because Trump said so.
Facts and evidence have no place in their world. Belief is all they want.
you probably don’t wanna know how many answers there are to that, but the short version is ask Edward Snowden.
Ah but he donated $15 dollars to a Democratic group once !!!!!
Suicide by secret service is certainly a step up from suicide by cop.
Weird country.
If there is hatred of Trump, it is entirely due to his own actions.
are you suggesting posters can't make their own opinions on someone based on that persons actions?
How many 20 year olds don't have any social media accounts? And, how does the FBI know that he was acting alone, within minutes - when they can't access the shooters phone?
A plausible explanation into what may have happened. Quite obvious from early eyewitness reports something went seriously wrong on the communication front on the ground than anything else.
Your style of debate is quite humorous. You equate anyone who supports Biden or who has a distaste for Trump as the same as a nutjob who tries to shoot him. You then go on to dehumanise Biden by calling him a corpse (irony much?).
Let me guess you think all the cases against Trump are politically motivated? You think all news is "fake news"? You think the right to bare arms due to an outdated amendment in a really old document to be of higher importance than the life of children who get regularly gunned down? You believe the immigrant who works and pays his taxes is a bigger threat than the billionaires who have steadily consolidated power and wealth into a tiny proportion of the population? Am I getting close here? Need I go on?
BTW, there is no radical left establishment in America. The democrats would be a very much right wing party in Ireland. The Republicans would be laughed out of the room and are more akin to the DUP. Low brow religious nutjobs, who claim moral superiority due to supposedly following the teachings of Jesus whilst simultaneously representing everything Jesus hated.
That's a fair summary. I would add the nuance that most of the major sources are still running with the story that he donated that $15 to the liberal campaign group ActBlue, as the donor not only had the same name, but also address as the shooter: https://time.com/6998557/thomas-matthew-crooks-trump-rally-shooter-fbi-motive/ So in all likelihood it was the same person. I haven't seen a report on the difference in his age and the donor.
We will know more when they release what they find on his phone. I suspect it will end up that he was apolitically motivated. Much to the disappointment of both sides.
I'm one, but I'd consider myself centrist. I've plenty of firearms, some of which are 'in the evil assault weapon' political category, but none of which are AR-15s. I figure the Army lets me shoot those when I want to.
About 30% of registered Democrats live in the same household as a firearm, 42% of independents. Of those who do own firearms, the specific category thereof will generally depend on location. I would wager most firearm-owning Democrats in San Francisco or New York City would own a pistol, but of those who live in suburbia or rural areas would be more likely to have a rifle. Simply on sheer sales numbers (due to it being a damned good rifle), the chances of it being an AR are pretty high.
Ultimately, though, it's impossible to brand all party members in a nation the size of the US as having one policy. You wouldn't expect a New York Manhattanite like Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to have the same thoughts on the matter such as Jon Tester (D-MT)…
or in the House, AOC (D, NY) to have the same thoughts as Mary Peltola (D, AK) who claims to own 176 firearms (About 65% of Alaskans own at least one firearm). Ryan Busse is running for Governor of Montana this year, used to work as VP of Sales for Kimber. To quote his own campaign advert, "I've sold over three million guns, and I'm a proud Democrat" I remember one Democrat running for Senate in Missouri, his advert had him assembling an AR-15 blindfold, on the message of 'gun is fine, but let's have more background checks'. If you're against the things, good luck in some states. Remember when Beto did a hail mary in Texas of "I'll take all your ARs?" That didn't end well… There's a reason why rural state politicians, even Democrats, can be wary, and not unusually advertise their pro-gun side, to avoid being labelled with the national "Democrats are anti-gun label"
Specifically to Pennsylvania, the neighbouring Congressional district to Butler's, where the assassination attempt happened, was represented until last year (when he tried to run for Senate) by Conor Lamb (D, PA17). This from his first campaign ad.
It's worth noting that he flipped a Republican seat by 0.3 of a percent when first elected in 2018 as part of the overall flip of the House from R to D control that year. Butler itself is in PA-16, which has a Republican representative.
I'll have you know that every single MAGA supporter's brain is actually physically larger than their head. Scientific fact.
No. The shooter joined the Republican party a good few years back as he, firstly, correctly anticipated that I would run again, and secondly, he knew there would be lax security at the event a few days ago and that he'd be able to get up on a nearby roof in order to get a shot off.
Lucky for him I didn't decide not to run or he'd have looked pretty stupid.
well except for the strange republicans who’ve argued in favour of child marriage.
So the shooter became a Republican because of their stance against pedos, and then killed their leader because he figured he was a pedo?
Every party is against pedos obviously so that's why it doesn't track. His entire life of understanding politics is the Republicans being under Trump, but he supported them whilst also hating them.
There is nothing obvious about any of it. A political assassin is broken no matter what way you look at it.
you’re assuming an awful lot to suggest he would have died if he hadn’t been assaulted.
Your posts are so radicalised they're actually difficult to read with all the cringe.
The officer in Question died of natural causes the day after. They did not kill him and it would have happened either way
He's really stepping up to improve the tone… This is fine though in certain posters eyes but the word bullseye was encouraging an assassination attempt apparently... 🤣
Lincoln Log Republicans —→
OK so.
Take care.
the Republican Party of today is violently against pedophilia, based upon a decade or so of Qanon conspiracy about adrenochrome etc. What doesn’t track?
I don't really plan on going to Ukraine anytime soon.
The shooters parents were Libertarian and Democrat.
The shooter was a registered Republican. So yea, a pretty mixed household.
Glasses like Trotsky's at that.
The prosecution rests.
