With Ukraine the way it is , Trump could play a huge part in your life very soon
Where are you getting your info from that the shooter was a leftie? I'm really confused, especially considering what you replied to.
Do lefties register as Republican? Not usually, no.
Are lefties big into guns and weaponry? Not usually, no.
Do lefties usually hide their values when talking to classmates? So much so that their classmates are happy to tell reporters "They semed pretty conservative"? Not usually, no.
Does he appear to be LGBTQ? No, he doesn't appear to be.
Does he have dyed hair? (I'm clutching at straws now for your sakes) No, it doesn't appear that way.
I mean, he wears glasses? A lot of people on the left wear glasses I suppose.
What am I missing? What have you discovered to have led you to the opinion that he is "the embodiment of the left and there supporters"?
Thomas Crooks…LGBTQ+ person
What you expect is moot.
I would argue it's never OK to try to kill anyone
Your argument is it is never okay to try and kill anyone.
I disagree. It's that simple.
Whilst political violence should be condemned and is never excusable, the fact remains that he has demonised himself with the utter bile and hatred he spews on a a daily basis. He is demonised for being a convicted criminal, with countless other cases piling up against him. He's a piece of **** and anyone who votes for him is either mentally deficient, an out and out authoritarian, has something to gain from his election (either financially or politically), or simply another piece of **** like him and his rabid supporters.
How anyone would want such a cretin as president is a terrible indictment on the voters in America. How can you look at a man like Trump and everything he stands for and spent his entire life doing and say "Yeah, he's the guy we should have running our country"? The mind boggles.
It would be nice if we could decouple from America a bit. They are a deeply sick society and their sickness is spreading here through their sick media.
We don't need their bullshit.
It's expected that if you try to kill an American politician you will likely be killed yourself.
Is this where you tell me that it's OK to shoot Donald Trump because you feel he's a danger to people?
Are hoping for a big juicy gotcha?
"They" should have known better than to try and hire a decent sniper when Armagh were playing in the All Ireland Semi Finals !!
Did I read somewhere that his parents were a Democrat and Republican? That's a weird but obviously prevalent thing in America. Must be hard to deal with when discourse is so extreme.
I don't think Irish people could relate to that whatsoever with our parties being so, I dunno the right word, unpolarising.
I can honestly say I hate rapists in general, granted Trump offered up lots of reasons to hate him prior to that one coming to light.
Some woman on RTE basically saying Trump brought it on himself for being the biggest meanie like EVER.
Ho boy.
That last paragraph reveals a lot
I don't read or participate in the Trump thread on here as I am an Irishman living in Ireland and Donald Trump has no relevance to my life. I'm only engaging here due to this being a fairly big news event.
I suggest you maybe take a leaf out of my book and calm down a bit on the subject? It's literally irrelevant to your life unless you're planning on moving stateside.
As for the hatred, he's an odious little man and it's been documented many times in the media. People can call a spade a spade.
Give us a single reason not to despise Trump. He's a proven rapist, a convicted felon, a hatemonger and manages to be both a bully and a coward who dodged the draft and mocks dead soldiers. How do you overlook all that?
Ironically, the shooter was likely far less of a threat to world peace than the man he was shooting at. So if we're too argue he needed to be killed, by extension, so too does Trump.
Quick question could you if you wanted sign up to the Republican or democrat party in your area if you wanted? I take it you just need ID?
Hardly desperation. Everyone would have expected it to be a loony on the left when it happened. The conflicting information afterwards furthered that.
It's pretty standard when someone is assassinated, they're going to be from the opposing side. Him being 20 means he was 12 in 2016 so it makes no rational sense that he was a fan of the republican party as it is today, which is completely formed under Trump.
Yes, prefer not to disclose what or how many.
You aren't banned for alternative opinions on here though. That's just an out and out lie.
Case in point, you are currently posting on here without being banned aren't you?
I do think there's a weird level of desperation to blame this on the Democrats, this guy sounds far more like he would have been influenced by right wing and conservative outlets.
So it is okay to kill people who are a danger to others?
People hate criminals, rapists, liars and those that stir up hate and derision against the weak or those they oppose.
Trump just happens to have all those qualities.
Some people are just born lucky :-)
So Trump was shot because of comments on a failing outdated Irish message board?!
You seem to have added hashtags to your other post too in some belief that there are trends on Boards like on Twitter.
Oh no democrats and their media pals never mentioned violence towards Trump
The "Yanks" obviously love to elect their criminals then.
What I don't understand is why Donald keeps referring to Biden as "corrupt" and "a criminal and a liar", if it's seen as a must have for the presidency?
He might as well write open fan mail :-)
Such a shame the Mayflower didn't have woodworm, it would have cleaned American politics up no end!
One of the nice things about UK politics is that being caught lying would have finished an MP's career.
Sadly it is going the same way as the US and the country is not benefiting one iota from it.
If you don't like the website then nobody is forcing you to post here…?
Yes, I'm not talking about the shooter. Just the idea that guns are purely right-wing.
@Overheal Genuine question, do you have one? I'm not aware of who else here is American. That's not a pointed question or a gotcha, just curious. My brother in the US has one I think but is very left-wing.
