One of the guns Democrats want greater controls over and not to be sold includes… the weapon used in the attack.
The preponderance of evidence here points to the shooter being a conservative.
Anyone attempting to shoot a politician in America knows what to expect.
I'd prefer if loonies weren't trying assassinate people but the result of attempting that is well known and a pretty obvious deterrent for any would be Oswalds.
I'd be much happier if that young man had never picked up a gun and was still alive and these type of incidents never happened.
Not the embodiment of the left, but being pro-gun is not just for the right. Plenty of Democrats want their guns but want greater controls and for certain types to not be sold.
I would argue it's never OK to try to kill anyone
Ah no, some people need to be killed, like this shooter for instance.
Was there another option to incapacitate? I doubt it.
He was a conservative that loves guns.... That's not exactly the embodiment of the left. 🤣
Yeah this quest to establish this guy's 'political motivations' strikes me as a bit of a wild goose chase. I'm pretty sure we haven't lost the next John Stuart Mill here…
Would you share your last post with friends and family? Both of us know the answer to that and what it says about your 'opinions'.
"The great thing is when Trump is elected because of those those are the groups whos power is going to be ripped away from them, and rightly so."
What are you on about.
🤣
A new account for the occasion ……
Somebody did try to kill him.
Anything relevant to that is up for discussion.
I would argue it's never OK to try to kill anyone, can I assume you feel the same way or are political opponents fair game?
We all know Trump is a devisive figure, all his misdeeds have been discussed at length on boards yet they form a large amount of what's getting discussed here.
A bucketful of nonsense. Heal up.
Care to send me a screen shot as I have not posted in the conspiracy forums and not posted anything outlandish in the Covid forums other then symptoms and I've had my shots. But hey fire away i can't wait for this evidence
The topic of this thread isn't whether or not its ok to try to kill him.
Its to discuss the fact that someone did.
But that theory only stands up for a brain the same size as shown in the graphic!
That's a fair summation. His motivation might have been to impress Jodie Foster a celebrity or because his neighbour's dog told him to do it.
It will be interesting to see if it comes out that he was targeted and incited to do this by others. Just looking at him, you wouldn't expect him to be able to pull off a legitimate attempt.
At this stage we have:
He was a registered Republican
He was big into guns and weaponry (not usually associated with 20 something liberal zealots) as evidenced by the t-shirt worn and membership of gun club.
Classmate talking to local newspapers recalling him as noticeably conservative
Against that there is some confusion about a donation to a liberal group, mixed reports it was made by someone with same name but different age.
On the balance of probabilities I don't think we're going to find he was a closet Democrat influenced by 'left wing' media and Democrat messaging. There is no foundation to that, despite it popping up on the thread frequently. The evidence thus far points in the opposite direction.
We can't rule out an apolitical motivation either, like Reagan's assassin or John Lennon's, or something very local \ specific to this person to have a grudge against Trump.
Okay? I've seen the shite you've talked through the pandemic and in the conspiracy theories forum to know you are disconnected from reality. You shouldn't be taken seriously.
Nothing to suggest that this is what happened here.
Thanks for the information, @eightieschewbaccy & @odyssey06 . I reckon we should take some of the sources with a pinch of salt until it appears in some of the larger media sources like NYP or BBC. I know that the feds are currently trying to access his phone, so we may know more after that.
His classmates are surprised by the attack but also he was known to be unusually conservative as @odyssey06 points out .
Edit: dropping one link cause I'm not sure on veracity
Given their posting habits on other issues it seems likely it's the religious right who are adamantly pursuing the repeal of liberal values like abortion legislation, homosexuality and closing the borders to muslim immigrants (or immigrants which don't uphold christian values) in order to establish a white Christian hegemony by installing Trump as supreme leader of the entire world. Trump's up for it I think.
edit: oh yeah and inflicting judgment and wrath on the whole world, except themselves because they expect they will be taken up in a cloud to heaven in white garments during the tribulations and escape it all. The remnant, God's chosen people.
There was a campaign to convince dem voters to register Republican so they could vote to keep Trump from winning the nomination.

According to someone who attended school with him, he was noted as conservative.

Illegal immigration saved his life.
Congresswoman Mike Collins posted afterwards 'Joe Biden sent the orders'. Your go. Warning, MTG up next.
Nope, it’s all mixed at the moment. Crooks was a registered Republican. He donated $15 through ActBlue, a Democratic-allied “get out and vote” organisation. His parents were Libertarian and Democratic. He doesn’t have much of an online presence. He was big into guns, tried to get into the school shooting team but wasn’t good enough.
